South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

It never occurred to the she-wolf that she ought to consider there could be others dwelling within the forest. After all the woods within the South were a haven to all supernatural creatures, including Weres. Although she was a creature that thrived being within a pack there were times when she wished to have a bit of solitude. She loved the boys, truly she did, but there times when she just wanted some alone time. Who could blame the woman? She had an Alpha that constantly looked like he was grumpy, but never was, and he spoke very little. The wolf actually liked being around the green-eyed man, she had grown comfortable being around him. A new Were that wasn't comfortable being a Were in the first place. Henry seemed very kind, and Raven was concerned for his well-being. She wanted nothing more than him to get more comfortable being a panther now, to see that he could have control even though he had the same feral disease she had. Her mate was an entirely different story. Tobias was the love of her life, but there were times when he could be a bit exhausting. To some, that was an understatement. Running through the woods was supposed to help her destress and simply let go of all the thoughts that troubled her. Sadly though that presence of the Dark Hunter ruined any chances of the wolf running out all her troubles and anxieties.

Foxes were clever, but wolves could be clever too! Hiding within the top branches of the tree, in one of her smaller forms, was probably her best idea ever. Seeing the Dark Hunter swiftly run past underneath her tree brought a wily smile on her muzzle. Oh this was a wonderful turn of events. Now that she knew the direction he would be running she would be going the opposite. Of course her little paws weren't capable of gripping the branches or keeping her still. Even though she lived among felines, and she picked up their habits, evolution would not allow her to learn how to stay within trees. Stumbled, and shocked, she fell down and was grateful to have landed in a person's lap, and not the ground. That would be a very awkward story to tell and explain herself. Instead she was trying to explain to the woman just what was going on, sort of. Yes, she needed to be aware there was a Dark Hunter around. After all, this should answer whatever question she had, which surely must be 'why did a wolf fall from the sky.' Raven hardly ever used her sad puppy face, but in this moment, she needed to do so. Thankfully it worked, because when the woman held her tightly and crouched, she waited in anticipation. What was she was going to do? Before she could reply that she would keep quiet, whatever she was going to do, she felt her world turn. They flew, well ran, over the various branches in the tree, she quickly pressed her small frame closer into the woman. This was not fun. Azrael had done something similar to her like this, and it was extremely uncomfortable.

She couldn't wait any longer to touch the ground. The pup hoped out of her arms, with relief. Woozy and feeling sickish, the little pup stumbled as she walked away for a moment. Her little legs flailed about and finally collapsed to the ground, landing on her belly. Raven couldn't do that anymore. She liked running. Running was a wonderful thing. She didn't like running like a speeding bullet. Going that that was unnecessary. Sure, it was necessary in this situation, but never again would she consent to such a thing. Not even if it was a life or death situation, she would manage her getaway herself. After she managed to catch her breath and settle she lifted herself to her four paws, heading cautious over to the woman. Her cold nose moving back and forth fervently, catching the others scent and seeing she was a fae. The question if she could understand was met with a slow nod, as both ears twitched forward with interest. Raven was a creature that liked to help others, and after hearing those first few statements, she gently replied.

"I can speak with you, because one of my powers is telepathy, and that isn't my park. The park is considered no-man's land...no Were's are allowed to claim it. And of course I won't say anything to a dog, because I'm not friends with dogs...I'm a wolf."

Well, she was. She just looked like a puppy. Without any other word Raven's small body began to transform and shift into a much larger creature, returning back to her normal wolf form....which happened to be much bigger than any silly old dog. Her markings were quite astounding. Most of her coat base was ebony. Grey-like flames flared up from her paws and up her legs. Along her back was that same matching color grey, but behind her shoulder blades and down the middle of her back were outstretched like wings, finished off with flame like markings along her tail. The rest of her body was littered with various scars that crisscrossed over her frame, the most noticeable one, were the claw marks slashed across her face. They were all old and yet terrible looking. A pink tongue would roll out as her busy tail swayed side to side in a friendly wave, finding that her change back to her wolf form was nothing to be all surpsing about. Cheerfully she explained herself just a bit to the fae.

"My name is Raven, and I am a were-wolf. I can shift into my human form if you want? Thank you for carrying me by the way, and keeping me from falling out of that tree. What is your name?"
