The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Nadya had only taken one other life before. That one had been a hunter too whom had dared to hold a knife to her son. It seemed complacency was her problem. She had finally trusted Tobias to leave him alone in the room with the twins so she could shower. Never again would she let her guard down. That anger that twisted inside her as she glared at the hunter she was presented with fueled her ability to a level she had never seen it before.
It should have frightened her...or given her pause at how she had willingly inflicted pain upon another person....but it didn't. A part of her mind was surprised about this fact but that was fleeting as the energy from using her ability had sapped the rest of her strength. Nadya's form reached instinctively for Frost, using him to stabilize and seek out that warmth she knew he was capable of. There was never a time she was more grateful for that ability of his then now as she wasn't sure she had the strength to shift and give that protection of her animal coat.
The heat wrapped about her in a cocoon, thawing her extremities and waking her up slightly. It was enough to be able to tell him where the twins were. "Yeah." Nadya mumbled in response to his question as she leaned against the tree and watched him begin to haul the hunters out of sight. She would have to remember to thank him later. In a world that was incessant on stealing a child's innocence, she was thankful to be with someone who understood and accepted her want to keep the darkness from them for as long as possible. Children should be able to enjoy their youth.
By the time Frost was leading Isabella and Micah from their hiding place, Nadya was able to support herself...albeit it a little gingerly. Her features immediately softened in their presence as she looked them over. Aside from a few scratches from the scrub branches they were no worse for wear. "Good listening you two." She kissed the tops of their heads in turn before Frost joined them. Nadya was caught off guard by the stolen kiss but by no means disliked it. It was a kiss unlike any others they shared in the bedroom, this one pure sweet and caring.
The giggle of her daughter especially causing the kiss to break as both adults glanced down. A soft smile tugged at her lips, "Silly girl." She mused lightly before kissing Frost once more. They couldn't stay there forever though, besides her being nude and weak still, the twins were now restless with the danger being gone. Izzy tugged at Frost for his attention, "No more dada...no more...kissin mama." Nadya's double-take was cut short by Micah demanding her attention with his continuous questioning, "Snack?....Snack?..." "Alright, alright, hush you two.." Nadya sighed, holding out her hand to use Frost once more as a slight brace in order to walk. "I'll be fine; I just need to get cleaned up and probably some food to get my blood sugar back up." The healing from the blood loss would certainly be aided by some food.
Nadya didn't utter another word on the way back home. She was much too concentrated on ensuring one foot in front of the other and the warmth of Frost's ability...and how to go about explaining Frost to the twins. It wasn't until they were past that threshold of the pack home and she had wrapped a robe from the hall closet about her that she spoke. "You two go upstairs and play in your room. I'll bring you a snack." Thankfully they didn't protest and headed upstairs to leave the adults. "...Do you want something to eat too?" Nadya questioned Frost as she headed into the kitchen.
Instead of food though she grabbed a hand towel and thoroughly wet it before returning to Frost. He still had the hunter's blood splattered down his chest. A frown etched her features as she slowly tried to wipe it away. "...Their preschool must have taught them about family names. I'll talk to them about it; shouldn't be too difficult to explain about a boyfriend. They have a loving grandmother and grandfather and two uncles from my adoptive pack. There are lots of kids who don't have dad's, ...two moms or made in a petri dish...maybe I'll go with petri dish...it's better than being told your own blood has no intention of ever knowing you." Nadya's rant faded off though she had avoided eye contact with Frost the entire time. She had also realized that cleaning up the blood was going to take more than just a hand towel which was now stained red and not to mention the blood the pair of them had on their leg from the trap wound.
