South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Abigail Hughes

Cheesy sticks were an interesting idea, to say the least. Abigail didn't really really believe Malia was eating a stick with a cheese on it. After all, Malia was like....a predator. Even Abby didn't eat sticks! Maybe she didn't know what it was she was eating? That's probable. Maybe she'd have to look it up. Maybe those sticks were something she could easily find and then they could make their own? She'd have to ask Arlo about these cheese sticks. He'd probably know all about them and what they were....in fact, he'd probably be able to take her to find it! That would be kinda nice! A warm grin crossed her features at Malia's enthusiasm at trying these cheesy sticks. They must be really really good for Malia to like them so much! What she didn't expect, however, was for Malia to inquire as to what she liked to do. After all, Abby didn't really have many hobbies these days. Between work, school, her new boyfriend, and this whole being a were thing, there wasn't a lot of time for lazing around and....doing....stuff. Not that Abby would know what to do with all that free time, to begin with! She was used to having to entertain herself with....stuff.

It took her a moment to admit that she liked books....and butterflies. Those fluttering little bugs were perhaps her favorite part of spring, much less her favorite part of being a were in spring. Spring brought all these wonderful things she could do to occupy herself with. There were all sorts of people and critters out and about in spring! In winter things were all quiet and boring and cold. Though, this winter she had Arlo, so that was something. Her attention, however, deviated at Malia's mention of tv. Abby hadn't considered spending that free time she did have watching television, though she had one, the whole thing was quite a mystery to her. She didn't have television where she grew up. The very mention of it caused her head to tilt ever so slightly. "I have a television at my house....but I don't know how to turn it on...." She admitted. Maybe she should have asked Arlo about that too....or maybe Malia would know! "Will you teach me how to use this television? I think I'd like to see it." She'd heard of them, after all, and the television shows on them but hearing and seeing were two totally different things!

Abigail, however, thought it was super duper neat that Malia understood her love for butterflies. It was exciting to hear that she used to hunt and catch them too. Based on Malia's keen ability to fetch that bunny rabbit, she bet the woman was like super duper amazing at butterfly catching and bunny pouncing! That grin on Malia's features only brought that look of glee on Abigails own. She giggled at the idea of a far younger Malia pouncing on other wolfs too. "I would have liked to have seen that." She admitted. "Maybe we'll have to find some other were's to pounce on!" It was a novel idea, though maybe a bit risky. Still, maybe they could make some neat new friends like that. What an awesome meeting story THAT would be! Abigail hardly expected to get a compliment in return, her own tail twitched from side to side, her butt wiggled ever so slightly. "I can totally get them up high and you can pounce on them when they're down low! We can double team them!" It seemed like a fantastic idea! The very invitation to go hunting caused her to nod quite enthusiastically. "Yeah!!" A squeak left her lips in her glee, the little panda hardly hesitating to jump to the floor before her hazel eyes turned towards their surroundings. "We'll have to see if we can find some before it gets too late!"
