South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The sensual sound of his velveteen voice held a distinct promise within its depths, the very likes of sorts caused the feisty kitten to pause in consideration of the fun she might have if she gave into those unlikely whims within the depths of his bedroom. Truly, if he enjoyed teasing her so greatly, she could only imagine the fun that could be had once their clothes had been abandoned on his bedroom floor. It took her far longer than she liked to admit to consider that she most certainly shouldn't be allowing her thoughts to wander in such a blatant fashion. Her manicured fingers reached for the shot glass in front of her, hesitating briefly before it was tossed back to add to the haze that had already begun to afflict her. In a vague effort to distract herself, Serafina began to stack those empty shot glasses in front of her, only to assure the warlock across from her that his ex-fiance was most certainly not present here today. Those troubles that afflicted him were of his own doing.

That exaggerated sigh upon Christian's lips caused a singular eyebrow to rise before a small shrug crossed Serafina's shoulders at the admittance of his crimes. "That would be pointless." The young witch informed him, pausing to add with little concern for the truth she so freely conceded to. "We might as well go in together then - I can't say my slate is clean." After all, she was just as guilty for her own fair share of killing. Perhaps it had not been a lover, nor nearly as intimate or accidental but the fact was, all the same, that she assisted in some degree to countless of acts she simply chose not to think about. Really, it was amazing she didn't have a horde of her own ghosts tailing after her. Though - maybe this was her punishment for her frequent involvement in the black market? Such thoughts, however, were pressed from the forefront of her mind as Christian so easily gave into that idea of ghostly possession. She supposed she shouldn't be so surprised, considering the man's desire for an escape from the life he led. Nevertheless, she was willing to give in, reaching out for her own affinity to fill that ghastly soul of the woman beside him with her own power. What she didn't expect, however, was her own affinity's unruliness. what should have been a ghost possession turned into a whole different affair as every single ghastly entity within that bar suddenly became visible.

It was a sudden scream that seemed to prompt Christian to open his eyes, only for him to recognize the ghost at his side near immediately. Serafina's eyebrow rose as the man informed her that the ghost haunting him had been his teacher. "Well, apparently Mrs. Kingsley did not forget about you." She mused vaguely. Christian had clearly been memorable. That chuckle upon his lips drew her stormy eyes away from the ghost and yet, his belittling prompted a pout on her sweet heart lips. "Shuddup." She muttered. Her once perfectly pronounced syllables were slowly beginning to blend together. She knew, innately, that she should have stopped that magic she'd unintentionally left to wreak havoc upon the bar and yet, her affinities seemed so far away and so unwieldy. It was better, she was certain, to just leave. Her hand reached out, wrapping around his wrist as she pulled him from his seat, the girl hardly stopping him as he stole the drink from someone else's table, that empty glass placed upon another table. The sudden weight of Christian stumbling back onto the wall caught her off guard, her own petite frame pulled off balance as she fell back into him with a giggle on her lips.

Her head tilted upwards, half looking back at him and half looking up at the ebony sky as she contemplated that very plan for their evening. "We could bar hop." She stated before an almost devilish look crossed her features. "You know, I don't think we paid for those drinks....maybe there's use for your teacher yet. Come on, let's...let's find another." Free drinks thanks to her ghost? It sounded like a wonderful night to get smashed.
