South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

something wicked this way comes

That rich sound of laughter from the man beside her brought an altogether sly grin upon the mischievous kitten's features. She watched as his nose scrunched upwards, only for the man to declare in a wholly dramatic fashion that the self-righteous were the worst. Although Serafina agreed, it was the manner in which he quite near hit a pair of passing strangers that brought those infectious girlish giggles to the witch's lips. If only they could see their faces! "They didn't know what to do!" She declared, that glee perhaps too obvious as she glanced over her shoulder at the equally as loud men, her tongue sticking out at them in a playful fashion and yet, it surely awarded her with their attention as the pair of drunkards shouted back their own crude obscenities, only prompting a sly grin upon the wobbling woman's features. The weight of Christian's form on her saw her gait tarry, the girl nearly colliding into the building beside her as she quickly tried to right herself. "Oopsies." She muttered with a bemused grin. That distraction from the conversation at hand, however, was certainly fleeting as he inquired after the leader of that very army - one which she knew far less about then she had willingly admitted. Those giggles now fell from her lips far more readily than they often did when she was over sober mind - even now, as Christian declared himself invincible, Serafina found herself laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of the idea.

She took his hand within her own, insisting he was far from being Superman, even though Christian seemed to object to such an idea. A grin spread across her features as she looked up at him and yet, that consideration that had only just begun to creep across her mind was interrupted by the unanticipated reminder that drinks were necessary. Abruptly the girl shifted their pathway, tugging the man down a rather crowded alleyway. Though Serafina herself hardly tripped on those boxes, her usual waving did send her teetering dangerously around some of them. An audible yelp left her lips at the unexpected presence of a homeless man though Serafina was quick to pull Christian tumbling behind her as she dragged him purposefully towards the mesmerizing lights at the other end of the alleyway. The witch paused at the end of the alleyway, her finger pointing towards the bright neon lights that so lured them with the promise of a good time. "It is..." Those words of awe were softly uttered upon her lips before Christian stumbled forward, shouting after him. "Hey! Wait for me!" She called after him, her own gait certainly more of a sway than a straight line. The whole world felt blurry and yet...she felt....good....so good.

Serafina trailed after Christian as he entered the bar, her own gaze skirting around the establishment with little interest in either it's inhabitants or the place as a whole. After all - the only reason she was here was for Christian's pity party and what a party that was turning out to be! Her attention turned briefly towards her newfound friend's sudden declaration, only to stare at those two men blankly. "Shhhh, Christian, he's following them!" She informed him, though those visions of the undead flickered bizarrely across her vision, that alcohol that now ran rampant through her system so stealing all control of her affinities, suppressing them in ways she hadn't even anticipated, not that she terribly cared. Her nose wrinkled as she watched the men move towards the exit, the woman hardly bothered by them as she trailed after Christian, nearly collapsing into the chair next to him, causing it to slide slightly by her sudden weight closer towards his own. "A.....umm.....mart...ini...with vodka." Vodka had always been her weakness after all and after all those shots, she sought the comfort of her own favored beverage - even if there was a good chance she'd never even finish drinking it. Keeping up with Christian, after all, had near collided into her with a force that was near overwhelming for the young witch.
