Thank God I came here into the stables and found the Fae! Surely he would take all this horse tack off me. If Alexander wasn't here to lecture me now then he would give me a pretty good tongue lashing when I showed up at his café. Talk about a terrible walk of shame! Having to take myself all the way from the stables through the city and at the doorstep of his café. Surely he wouldn't yell at me in front of everyone. Hopefully he'd take the tack off me. Although if he wanted me to learn my lesson and punish me, he'd probably make me ride us both back towards the stables from his café. Hell, he'd probably tell me I have to trot or run the entire way. God, I would be so tired. I could head over to see my Great Uncle though. He might be willing to take the tack off. Although then I'd have to deal with him yelling at me too. I could go to the Ark and find Tetradore. He probably would ask any questions. He'd just take the stuff off and I could switch back as a human and be on my merry way, with this moment between us never being conversed. Yep. If I didn't find the Fae here in the stables that's the route I would have taken! As the Fae approaches and inquiries about the location of my rider I snort in disappointment. My rider. She's never around. She and I hardly ever train together let alone hang out and do anything. She just comes and goes without a word, as if I'm not important. The thought of me tossing off a rider seemed accurate enough. His mention that some of them deserved to be tossed was answered with me tossing my head up and down a few times, in wordless agreement.
As he comes forward to rest his hand against my shoulder I move my muzzle towards it, inhaling his scent, and nudging his hand gently. When he moves further down my form I turn my neck around to watch him. I can feel him working to get the saddle off my back and I can't help but to side step to the left and right a bit, pleased to be free from it. I can feel a bit looser. Lowering my head a bit for him to take the bitless bridle off me I happily shake my head side to side as soon as it is off me. It's not that it is uncomfortable, but I just didn't want it on me anymore. I am pleased to hear he would not tell Alexander about me running off, I knew I could trust him! Although I wasn't very well pleased to hear that he thinks Alexander already knows. Tilting my own head both ears are pointed in his direction as I listen. He lost sheep? How does one lose sheep? I know he is trying to help by giving me advice, and while that's all good, I don't think I made a mistake for not participating in training. I mean I was told that I would have a rider and I would be doing rider training, not pulling a godforsaken wagon. If anything the mistake was on him. Telling me that this woman was going be my rider when she was hardly here. Telling me that since she was gone instead of getting a new rider I would be left with pulling wagons and only used for a temporarily rider. Looking away from him I blow out my nose, moving my mouth up and down, if I was human I would be grumbling. Impress Alexander, HA! I could do no such thing.
When he places his hand along my face my one eye shifts to look at him. As he continues to stroke my nose I turn my head over to him, my ears dropping slightly, content by his touch. Of course training is boring. He probably never had to pull a wagon fill of heavy stuff before. Someone rely on me? Hahaha! That'll never happen, I'd bet money on that. No one will need me. Trust me on that, they won't. No one ever needed me before why would that change? Oh we need the wagon horse to pull a wagon, oh who will save us. Don't make me laugh Fae. I can't help, but fold my ears back slightly in annoyance. The sound of Darius whicker was answered with a frustrated squeal. He can wait his damn turn. He always gets attention I never do. He can wait his damn turn I think. Apparently the Fae is annoyed with him too. When he invited me to come along I nod at his invitation and follow after him as my hooves gently bang along the concrete floor. Approaching Darius stable I keep my distance snorting softly as I look for this food that the Fae spoke of. I will change, eventually back to a human, but as a horse I'm getting some attention, and I'd like to have just a little bit more. Especially the petting! Seeing a bag hanging from his stall I poke my nose at it catching the scent of apples. With a soft nicker I budge the bag with my nose, letting the Fae know that I am indeed wanting some food!
