Opening the door she quietly peered inside finding everything...surprisingly in order. Leaving Tobias by himself for a good part of the day wasn't the best plan in the world, but if she had taken him to a Doctor he would have just...well it probably wouldn't have gone well. Too many possible scenarios where it would end up with the Doctor being terrified. A small frown would creep up on her face as she didn't see him. He wasn't in the kitchen, breakfast nook or the living room. There wasn't much space for him to hide. Heading on over to the backdoor patio she saw through one of the windows her mate happily tearing up pieces of bread and throwing them at the ducks that had wandered from the nearby pond just a few yards away. With a small smile she shook her head and moved over to the bookshelf in the living room, grabbing the black leather bound photo album. Setting the manila folder on top of the bookshelf, she shifted through the pages and inserted a particular photo in a certain section. With the photo album she headed back towards the patio opening up the door and making her way on over to her mate. It was actually kind of cute to see him sit on the ground and gently toss the bread over to each duck, making sure each one got a bite. One would think he would be a bit rougher, tossing the bread at the ducks to hit them. He could have been in his leopard form chasing them around. And yet, here he was showing his gentle side...a side that would be greatly needed later this year, and well...every day for the rest of their life. Heading over to him she allowed herself to sit on the cool grass next to him, watching as the three little ducks scattered a little bit, but still stayed close enough for them to grab a bread. Leaning in she gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek to gain his attention. As soon as he looked her way her smile widened a bit.
As the ducks softly quacked, craning their heads to see if they would be getting any more bread, Raven went very quiet for a moment and looked down at the ground. She had been thinking for quite some time on how she would explain this to him. When his focus returned to the ducks, she bit her lip and gently brought one hand up to stroke his arm, letting her fingers trail down to his hand. Squeezing his hand gently to get his attention again, she spoke up, but this time there was a bit of worry in the tone of her voice. Maintaining eye contact she explained herself, pausing every now and then to allow him time to process it.
It was at this moment she paused, giving him time to process this and if he had a question. Letting go of his hand she brought her own hands together and started her familiar nervous routine, grabbing onto her fingers over, and over again.
Before the Ark sunk he had acknowledged a few times that she had been spending too much time in the bathroom, and she had been making odd noises. Trying to hide from him that she had been throwing was not easy. She appreciated the fact that he was curious and at any other time it would be great, but not particularly at that time. For a moment she stopped wringing her hands and picked up the photo album that had been resting in her lap. For a moment she started to trace the lettering of their names and then slowly opened up the photo album towards the page that she had shown him on their anniversary night with the stork. On the page with the stork there was a photo of the ultrasound she had taken when she visited the doctor earlier that day. Her lips would pull back into a wide smile as she shakily told him some very good news!
Well, she finally admitted it. In her blue-grey eyes there was a mixture of worry and excitement. Would he be happy? Would he be mad? Would he know what she was talking about? Raven couldn't hardly wait to see his reaction! She bit her lip, quite anxious.
