After not living so very close to the pack after a few months, the thought of anyone stumbling in on the two of them was far from the forefront of her mind. Living in a secluded area, the majority of the pack not having vehicles to get to them reinforced the idea that they were alone and had nothing to worry about. Raven knew that Tetradore and Mira would arrive before the moon rose, and yet she was sure that she and Tobias could have an intimate moment together without Mira and Tetradore knowing. It was silly of her to think that they could have gotten away with it. However, that mixture of her hormones, lust, and the pull of the moon provided the woman a sense of self-confidence and bravery to do such a reckless thing. Sometimes her deviants' nativity did her some good. That she would think the two of them were playing a game as they got dressed made it much easier. As for him not accidentally saying what they did, well, she knew that was a big risk. Meeting her Alpha and Mira awkwardly in the living room, the poor woman stammered and tried to explain their absence. Her cheeks remained a violent red, her hands finding one another as she began to twist her fingers around, a known habit when she got nervous. Mira's teasing made Raven's cheek change to a deeper color, as she stuttered a reply.
There was no way Tetradore or Tobias would help her out of this mess. Not knowing what else to do she stared at the bag of cookies Mira was holding, feeling very uncomfortable with all eyes on her. The she-wolf was never the kind of person that relished being in the spotlight. When Mira mentioned how everyone was feeling the effects of the moon, she couldn't help, but nod fervently in agreement. Surely everyone understood that her actions were a mistake, or that this could've happened to them. Although if she and Tobi stepped in on Tetradore or Mira in the aftermath of their tryst, they wouldn't be in the least embarrassed by it at all. Not caring what others think about them or self-confidence were attributes she didn't have, but in this moment, she desperately wished she did. The moon's pull on their species was overpowering, and being pregnant, didn't make it any easier. Quietly she moved away from her mate as he invited Tetradore to see the latest video game she had bought him earlier. Grateful that they were trying to move beyond this slip-up, she shuffled quickly towards Mira, keeping her head down as they headed towards the kitchen. Taking the bag Mira was carrying she quickly fished for a cookie and devoured the whole thing in seconds. Placing a hand on her belly she nodded with reassurance, speaking quite softly.
It wasn't Mira's responsibility to attend those birthing classes with her. It honestly wasn't anyone's responsibility but her own. Although she had her mate to assist her, at the end of the day she would be the one doing all the work. They weren't living in the Ark, so relying on her pack for assistance wasn't going to be an option. And yet, she didn't want to go to this class alone. It would be really nice to have a friend come along with her. The last time they did something together, they were in danger, but she was sure that a birthing class would be a safe thing to do together. Turning her head around, she briefly looked over in the direction of the living room where Tetradore and Tobias were focused on the video game. Refocusing on Mira she took a step closer, muttering quite softly.
That pull from the moon was far too difficult to ignore now. Nodding in agreement that it was time they head out, she followed after her to the back porch. While the rest of them were beginning to shift she couldn't help but wince from the pain slightly. Shifting while pregnant was slightly different than what she was used to. Placing one hand on the side of the cabin, she started to crouch down, placing her other hand on the ground. Once her shift was complete that hand that was settled on the wall of the cabin was a grey paw on the ground. As a wolf, her sides were a bit more swollen than usual. It had been a very long time since she ran with another member of the pack. Stepping down the porch steps, she slowly went to Mira and Tetradore, nuzzling the two gently to get familiar with their scent again. Taking a step back, she turned to her mate, wagging her tail, and then looked over at the panther and leopard.
