South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Hold on to this lullaby; even when the music's gone

She hadn't picked up on the fact that there had been another fox until she'd wiggled herself down into the roomy den. She was sure it had once housed a family complete with kits but the scent was all but faded now. After baring her pearly whites at her larger cousin she had taken the momentary distraction to escape to the den. As she sprinted, she felt the hot breath of the wolf, which only spurred the adrenaline.

Now though, the other foxes words ran through her head. Help, healing. That was all she wanted. Safety, no fear. Fear was bad, fear caused her to lose control and losing control meant death. "Please" she responds back just as the other was forced down into the den with her. The padding of the wolfs paws circled the entrance to the den and Claire moved further to the back, acknowledging the fact that even she needed help.

Fear was bad, she had to stop it. Stop the way her heartbeat raced and furthermore she had to avoid eye contact. Her breath comes in short bursts, the pain that radiated from her hip was too intense and that was the fear that caused her to stay in her were-form, the one thing that made her feel safe right now.

It had taken moments for her to realize that it was becoming quiet save for her breathing and that of the other foxes. The heavy hoof beats drew closer and she ignored the words the two spoke to each other. Hoping that maybe the wolf would leave and she could finally pull herself from the den and try to dig the bullet from her hip again.

His voice has a familiar cadence to it, she knew that tone well and it is what spurs her from the den with barely a thought, wiggling her form out of the entrance and spinning on her three good legs to notice the almost sluggish wolf.

Her body is low to the ground, ears back and tail held low, "I doâ€"I don't mean harm." She says, keeping one eye on the wolf and the other bouncing between the den entrance and the war-horse.
