The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Samantha Cassidy
Truthfully, Samantha didn't need to be warned about the blood thirst of the child vampire in front of her. The thirst was so strong in the young girl that it ached it every emotion the girl had. The emotions were wild, tinged with the slight insanity that her starving body produced. It made Samantha's shoulders tense, full aware that her efforts to protect the bleeding human girl in front of her would likely be dangerous for her as well. Except, it seemed as the girl spoke, pulling herself to her feet, that she was hardly human at all. Humans didn't heal that fast, and humans certainly didn't carry knifes like that. It didn't seem to be iron, thankfully, but Samantha still hardly wanted to feel that in her own skin.
Samantha shifted on her feet as she listened to the exchange between the two vampires. She'd guessed already by the child's mania that she had no desire for leaving her prey alive, though the confirmation of the idea made her stomach churn. "Got it," Samantha breathed towards the older vampire, her voice tinged with the anxiety she felt towards the situation. It had been stupid to follow her instincts here. She was hardly any help, after all. She knew nothing about vampires or how to handle them, and she certainly had no weapons. Truthfully, she wasn't even sure that escape for herself was a possibility. And still, even if she could escape on her own, she wasn't sure her conscience would let her leave without the Hunter.
"I don't suppose you're willing to offer up suggestions," Samantha said to the man, carefully taking a step towards the girl. She kept her eyes on both of the vampires as she tried to close the distance between her and the hunter. "I mean, it would be awfully inconvenient to lose your chance to feed here," She kept her voice cool, her gaze unwavering from his. "You're hungry, and she's going to kill anyway, so why try and stop her? You get a free meal, she leaves happy. No harm, right?" Samantha's lips curled into a smile. "Except, I'm here to throw a wrench in your plan." The young faerie tried to keep her body steady, unwilling to let the nervousness she felt bleed out into her words. Her words were empty. She knew she wouldn't be able to stop either of them from feeding off her or from the Hunter. Still, she hoped that neither of them noticed that. And, of course, that she could keep herself talking long enough to think of a better plan.
