South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

The young girl was thankful for the child that had made such an effort to include her in the ways that the other members of the herd had not. Most of the adults still looked at her with curiosity, some of them looking as though she was something not to be approached, as though the sense of not belonging could be contagious. Mosi, however, had seen none of that. Instead, he had made the effort to drag her into the crowd, bringing uncharacteristic laughter from her lips as she allowed herself to join in with the child. She couldn't help but be charmed by him, her body moving to spin him around and spin herself around. It was perhaps the first moment since they stepped foot in Africa that she felt comfortable, truly comfortable, and it was around a child.

Of course, it was short lived when Kato seemed determined to drag her out of the crowd. At that moment, the girl felt exhausted, rather wanting to continue to lose herself in the music rather than meet another person that wouldn't approve of her. Still, Kato refused to take no for an answer, dismissing her dance partner with words she didn't understand. Meeting more of his family made her feel nervous, but still, she didn't fight as he pulled her out of the crowd. She sighed softly as she spoke, looking up at him as he frowned at her. He did look sorry, though it only made the girl huff softly. "I still asked you not to leave." She muttered, though the argument was short lived by the collision of another body into hers.

The girl was rather confused by the sudden motion, quite ready to push the girl off when her brain seemed to catch up to her. She was giving her a hug? The word she uttered left her confused, before she remembered Kato's mother translating it for her. Hello. The girl was barely able to react before she was released, Edie's body shifting a little closer to her boyfriend instinctively. "Maeve, nice to meet you..." She said, seeming rather shy in front of the bubbly girl. It was hard not to feel nervous, considering she'd been so convinced the beautiful girl that stood in front of her was competition rather than someone who was meant to be almost family. Still, the girl couldn't help but offer Maeve a smile, nodding as she mentioned England. "Yes, I was born in Yorkshire. It's up in Northern England, by the sea." She couldn't help but brighten at the mention of her own homeland. "It's beautiful. I think Kato would like it there."

It was hard to not like Maeve, Edie had decided, the woman bubbly and considerably more welcoming than Kato's mother had been. "When you go travel, you shall have to go to Yorkshire, I believe you would love it. Though it's a lot colder than it is here." She noticed the way that Kato shifted beside her, giving him a confused glance before Maeve began speaking to her again. "Running?" She asked confused, though the meaning caught up with her quickly. "Oh, of course. I don't know that I'd be... good at that," She cast a glance at Kato nervously before she continued. "My were form is a bit different. I think Kato would be worried that I would get stepped on." She was careful, not inquiring about what she meant by needing more women. It was clear, from the way that they spoke, that they thought Kato and Edie would be staying. No, that wasn't the case, but it was not Edie's place to say that.

"The market? Sure, I'll go, if Kato can come with us." She couldn't help but look up at her boyfriend, seeming rather nervous about the idea of not being near him. "How far away is the market? Will you come along, babe?" She had meant it when she'd said she didn't want to leave Kato, the girl still feeling rather nervous about the whole thing. The culture was so different, the language showing a bit of an issue for her, and the way that everyone seemed to look at her like she was a sore thumb. She moved sheepishly, leaning into Kato's side as she wrapped her arms around his middle almost protectively. "I made him promise that he wouldn't leave me," She explained to the girl. "I'm still feeling nervous."
