The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.
Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar.
Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Abigail liked birthdays, as if that wasn't painfully obvious as it was! Still, she was excited for tonight. She'd been planning it for like....literally all week long. There were presents to buy and decorations to get and cake! All the cake! She had to get a super duper awesome cake too since Alexis had never had a cake and she wanted her to taste a cake she really really liked. All of it left quite a few conundrums for Abigail to consider. She had only half way paid attention to her classes that morning - those ecological studies paled in comparison to what she knew her evening would consist of. The moment she was free from that establishment, Abigail set to her GREAT GRAND MASTER PLAN. It was going to be epic. Her first matter of business was decorations. AND THEY HAD SO MANY COLORS. There were black ones and silver ones and pink ones and like..every color imaginable. But Alexis said she liked green. So Abigail got green. She got lime green and dark forest green and spring green and maybe one roll of orange because really, green and orange do go good together don't they? They were like..contrasting colors or something. Then it was onto balloons and naturally that was a whole different distraction because there were sparkly balloons and plain balloons and she just HAD to have one that said 'Happy Birthday' on it.
She had perhaps spent equally as long on this whole topic of presents. After all, she knew rather little about the girl and her likes but she did know that Alexis liked books. So she got books. She got a love story and this other book with a bird on the cover and then there was this book that was an utter classic that Alexis absolutely had to have. Abigail even poured over that wrapping paper she used to wrap each and every book she got, resorting to the internet to ensure each corner was perfectly straight, each piece of tape carefully hidden, and each bit of ribbon perfectly curled. And then...there was the cake. The cake was perhaps her singular most important concern because it had to be awesome. She'd considered going classic, maybe vanilla or chocolate but then that left a whole realm of cake flavors left that Alexis simply hadn't tasted! It might have been ridiculous and over dramatic (but then again, when wasn't Abby overdramatic?) but Abigail got them all. More correctly, she'd bought cupcakes. From a nearby little boutique. A dozen, to be precise, in every flavor they could offer her. She had a white cupcake, a yellow cupcake, a chocolate cupcake, a red velvet cupcake, a peanut butter banana cupcake and at least what felt like a bagillion other flavors with a number of other icing combinations. It was a cupcake smorgasbord and yet, Abigail felt entirely pleased with herself.
She had only just finished putting together that bowl of oranges she fully intended to give Alexis (which in itself was a veritable variety of anything orange like, she even included a grapefruit), when the sound of feet on her porch immediately drew her attention. She was here! Ahhh! The party girl was here! It could start! She could only hope the woman enjoyed her birthday and too liked all that effort that Abigail had put in for her. In fact, for once, the were-girl was almost nervous. It would be such a disappointment if she'd failed her newfound friend with her first birthday! She took a small breath to reassure herself before moving to open that door, her features shifting into a near beam at the sight of Alexis. "Happy Birthday!!!" She exclaimed, near pouncing on the girl in an effort to provide her a hug. After all, that's what friends did, right? She took a step back only to regard the stranger at her side with another beaming grin. "Hi there! You must be Raven! It's so nice to finally meet you! Come in!!"
