West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It was a novel idea, certainly, the application the young woman gave to those little creatures she could now prompt from a single vial of magical liquid. She had considered such potions far too frivolous to find a place within her store and yet, the idea of those creatures for Halloween certainly appealed to the woman's darker nature. "Ooooo...." She contemplated, leaning back slightly in her chair as she contemplated just what sort of things she would need to prompt those creatures to come scurrying forth. How big could she make them? What were her limitations here? Quite clearly it depended wholly on her own imagination, lacking though such clearly was. "Hm...perhaps next year." She commented, more to herself then to her companion as Raven pulled out from that basket a rather peculiar assortment of goods. This was certainly not that type of food she had been expecting when Raven had insisted she had brought lunch. Sushi was nothing short of exotic, compared to the sort of dishes the two women often consumed. Serafina was hardly against such a dish, however, the girl merely inquisitive as she inspected that piece of fresh cut shrimp on that perfect little mound of rice. It certainly didn't look hard to make but, it wasn't as if Serafina had ever made an effort to do so either.

It was after a moment of consideration that she placed that piece of fish in her mouth, the woman chewing almost thoughtful upon it as those flavors hit her tongue. Well, the fish cut wasn't too bad and the rice had been seasoned well enough...those stormy eyes turned almost critically upon her companion, a wholly weary look settled on those feminine features. She was well aware of her companion's cooking skills. Following directions in a book was one thing Raven seemed to excel at, even if Serafina herself often stuck to a far different sort of savory dishes. It was almost surprising that the West was capable of bringing in fish of such high quality. Not to mention, frankly, she found herself doubting that Raven's boyfriend was capable of appreciating the delicate knife work that she was fully capable of recognizing on those slices of fish that decorated the table in front of her. It was with such considerations lingering upon her mind that prompted Serafina to offer those rather rare glimpses of praise, muted though such an emotion was.

That cheerfulness within her friend was quite clear to the stormy eyed woman, it was rather atypical in every sense and yet, for a moment, Serafina simply chose to watch her. The witch's head bobbed ever so slightly in acknowledgement of her friend's continued efforts at that sushi dish and yet, even as she picked up another piece, she was hardly willing to let her observations go unvoiced. That comment was wholly casual, though Raven's reaction certainly was not. Her eyebrow rose ever so slightly as she watched the woman across from her choke on that dish, that look of skepticism hardly shifting even despite Raven's efforts to make her peculiar mood seem...well...less then it was. "So....let me get this straight....you brought me sushi....because your boyfriend is learning to read." That flatness to her tone was altogether clear, that look of disbelief equally as much. "Uhh huhhh...." She continued, putting another piece of that seafood in her mouth. Serafina certainly didn't believe her companion in the slightest and yet, her efforts to uncover the truth of the matter had left her with little more then additional assurance that something was indeed up. The cat would come out of the bag in time...all she had to do was wait.
