It was nice not to have any plans for the day and so she'd decided she was going to finally finish the last book Raven had recommended for her and maybe she'd even venture to the library to find another to start and keep her occupied. She didn't know where everyone else was but something told her they'd gone off the Ark for the day, judging by the utter quiet of the ship. She didn't hear any banging around or horseplay which meant Raven must have taken Tobias off somewhere, and she didn't hear and Mira and Tetradore goading each other in soft voices that everyone else around them couldn't tell they were really flirting. Maybe she was the only one on the Ark today and that was okay with her. That meant she could get more reading done. But of course, those were dreams for another day because it wasn't too long after that that she heard a soft knock on her door.
She glanced up, putting her bookmark in the pages just in case she had to set the book down. Her gaze widened in surprise to see Tetradore leaning against her doorframe. He rarely ever came to see her, especially on a one on one basis. She wondered if that meant she was in trouble or something but she didn't feel any anger or disappointment in his body language. If anything, he only looked amused to find her reading. At his comment about her looking comfortable, she couldn't help the way her lips turned up in the corners in a light smirk as she shrugged. "Comfortable enough, anyway." She lifted a brow at him expectantly, knowing he definitely would have a reason for coming to her room. As his gaze went to the window, she followed it, smiling at the scenery outside her window. She really did love the outdoors. It was almost as much of an adventure as her books.
Tetradore's question surprised her, even as she closed the book and set it down on her end table. She tilted her head a little, studying him for a moment. She almost thought about questioning him, asking what kind of adventure. Would they do doing something legal or otherwise? She'd heard the rumors about some not so clean activities, not that they were of any concern to her. She didn't judge her alpha by his decisions outside the pack. He gave her a home and kept her safe. He gave her a family again and was kind to her. She couldn't ask for better and so she didn't question his other activities. She could care less if he killed people for a living. He was her alpha and he'd have her loyalty above all else. But she'd never felt the need to tell him that. She figured it was just better to show in her actions.
So instead at his question, she shrugged again. "Sure." Stretching, she stood up and ventured to the door, stopping just short of him so she could nudge her head toward the doorway he was all but taking up. "Lead the way. I just hope there's food on the way." As if in answer, her stomach grumbled and she smirked.
