The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The Dark Hunter was a threat. A threat that had to be eliminated. It wasn't her choice. It never was. The change was rapid. It was easy to throw her massive paw against the Dark Hunter. Stalking towards the Dark Hunter she was not bothered by the other she-wolf for the moment. Entire focus was upon the one that had tried to kill her. The painful high-pitched screams that came from the male encouraged the she-wolf to bite down harder on her hunter turned victim. The stab of the silver blade crushing into her cheek was not only annoying, but irritating. It hurt. All she knew was he had inflicted pain on her and she didn't like that, not one bit. Seeing him attempt to crawl away, one massive paw landed upon his form, a low growl a clear warning that he was going nowhere. The Dark Hunter no longer held the upper hand. He was no longer a menacing threat. He was nothing more than a helpless prey that was meant to be toyed with. Pressing down upon his form, a sickening crack could be heard, as her paw slowly moved towards her, dragging him slowly against the pavement. The taste of his fear was absolutely delectable to the feral creature. Just as she was about to lower her dial to finish it, the smaller wolf did it instead.
Blue-grey eyes watched intently as the dark she-wolf pounced upon the other half of the Dark Hunter. Quietly she watched as she lowers her dial, grabbing a hold upon his neck, as she snaps at it. The dreadful sound of bones cracking seemed to echo in the darkness on the barren street. The fear and terror mixed in with adrenaline evaporated completely. For a moment the massive creature stood there quietly looking down upon the body. Gently her massive muzzle brushed against it, nudging it and seeing that it was limp. Uninterested she moved her dial back and raised one paw to brush against the dagger sticking out of her cheek. A low grumbling growl rumbled as she shook her head focusing now upon wanting the painful object out. The sound of another voice entering her mind caused her black lips to pull back, sharp teeth barred as a warning. She didn't like that. For a moment the bear-sized wolf stared at the other, uncertain with how to proceed. It was not pack. Yet it was a wolf. The feral creature knew wolves were bad, they were the ones that caused great pain...and yet it didn't belong to her old pack either. Curious she took a step forward nudging her bloodied muzzle into the side of the other wolf, inhaling her scent and discovering a very faint scent of her Alpha. That scent was enough to cause the feral creature to relax for a moment, finding the other she-wolf presence allowed. There was a slight wave of her grey touched tail waving slightly, a sign that everything was okay â€" for now.
