East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

... dying to live... living to die...

Passing by each of the quaint shops her chocolate eyes caught sight of one of the cutest pair of stilettos she'd ever seen. Black, of course, with a five or six inch heel and hot pink bow that sat on the back of the shoe. Her pace slowed as she passed by them; at least the shopping in downtown seemed to be pretty good. A jewelry store sat next door, beautiful gemstones sat in every kind of precious metal. She made her mind up that she needed to increase her wardrobe as soon as possible while she had all this time on her hands. A small child bumped into her, she smiled to the mother accompanying the girl and apologized for not paying attention. She should probably work on that a little more and window shopping a little less. She moved on, eyes focusing in more and more on the different shops that caught her attention on this strip.

Another cute boutique popped up just a few shops down. Her eyes peered through the window as she walked by, looking at the dresses displayed. Suddenly her shoulder is swung back, hitting against a woman's shoulder rather roughly. The woman spun her head around towards her after their collision, used a bit of sign language and made a nasty comment. Rage and tension shot through Alexia as she turned to watch the vulgar display, still almost caught off guard by everything. "Maybe you should take your own damn advice hon." Her words rolled off her tongue laced with venom and coated with a sugary undertone. Her painted lips were set to a frown as her brows furrowed and silver blood started to boil under her skin. She radiated all the anger and frustration she'd been holding inside herself towards this woman for some reason.

Her brown eyes looked the woman up from top to bottom. She looked a few years younger and stood a few inches taller than Lexi. She looked and dressed the part of a street walker, maybe she was one. Lexi rolled her eyes as she stared towards the obnoxious female; looking for every reason in her mind to hate her and find fault within her. "But obviously you were too busy off in Neverland to pay attention to where you were going." Her quip runs out as venom filled as her first comment, though she mixes and minces her fairytales a bit, trying to make a comment on the print from the woman's dress.

Alexia never really paid much attention in her life to stories and tales, like Alice in Wonderland or Peter Pan. Her childhood had always been more about working towards her future; there was no time for story books or television or movies. Since she was old enough to sit at a desk and take decent notes, her father occupied a lot of her time. Her mother was always making her focus on her craft, learning and exploring more about the unique blood that coursed through her veins. It wasn't an unhappy upbringing, it was just one that didn't value what society believes to be a normal childhood, if there even was such a thing. She envied her friends at time growing up, they all seemed to be having much more fun than she ever was.

She folded her arms across her chest as she waited on to see what the rude woman had to say for herself. Of course she felt she was due an apology, but doubted she'd hear those words ooze from the auburn haired woman. She damn sure wasn't about to apologize for not paying attention this time.
