Nadya hardly expected a warm welcome considering their last almost tense dinner and now his given state of mind. However, though she no longer saw a happy reunion between herself and her brother, she by no means wished him ill. On the contrary, all she had ever wanted was for him to find happiness. That just seemed to only be possible without his blood. The young woman raised a brow at Henry's comeback about her brother. "He doesn't own you and I'll let that slide because you weren't born a Were so don't know. Whether my brother meant to or not though, he now cares about your wellbeing. He created you which means if something happens to you there will be a void in him like losing a piece of himself. It's similar to the painful void of your Alpha dying which I did have the experience of."
Her delicate fingers played with the rim of her shot glass as she pondered the situation. "I may not know how you fucked up and really don't need to know but I can tell you how to make the hurt go away that won't take your life. I have felt that sorrow before, the kind where you just want the earth to swallow you whole because nothing matters anymore kind of feeling. I had to give away my children for a time and nothing in life ceased to matter after that. I chose to remain in my Were form for a few weeks. After a few days that animal brain...the primitive one, it takes the pain away. Animals can't feel that depth for that long." She downed that shot before considering Henry again.
"I can help you into your feline form if you don't want to go back to the Ark right now and have my brother do it. A few days in the forest will help...clear your mind." Nadya shrugged. It had worked for her. It gave her that oblivion feeling of letting the animal instincts simply take over. "Have you managed to successfully hunt yet?" Had he gotten to feel any of the thrills of being a Were yet or had her brother simply kept him stowed away in perceived safety, denying him those releases?
