East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

It hadn't occurred to the were creature how entirely ignorant the young woman might be of the world she was now submerged in. It was entirely different to be born into such a world rather then to be so haphazardly thrust into it and left behind. For him everything was entirely natural, it was instincts, it was in his genetics and ran through his bloods. Everything from the phases of the moon to the presence of a supernatural was an innate ability that he hardly knew how to explain - let alone share. His eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly at the girl's insistence for him to teach her, his head shaking ever so slightly. "It would be better to ask the fairies at Nadya's club. They would be able to provide the answers your looking for. We feel things differently then you. I can just....taste it in the air. It's metallic. Like blood." It was the best description he had to offer her though he was unsure if it was in any way beneficial for her. As animals their senses were heightened. Their communication with the world around them existed within a fashion that most could not even begin to comprehend without experiencing it themselves.

Silence, was in part, a norm for him for this very reason. For so long he had been restrained to that ebony skin till he had nearly forgotten what it felt like to be human - what he looked like as a human. His vocal cords were unformed for the words as a feline until the simple muteness had become his life. Those years left a raspy sound to his deep voice, one that was more present the longer he remained as that cat. However, this past was one that he hardly wants to share with the young fairy across from him. "It's....fine." He spoke softly in response to her, hardly perturbed by the girl's effusive nature, his mood returning to that usual indifference that wracked his soul. At least, until the mention of the nightmares his affinity had so managed to plague her with. Usually, he wielded his fear with such aptitude, entirely callous of the effects it drew upon those that were touched with the dread he so inflicted. That was, until her. There was something about her that made him pause, that brought the guilt and the dejection of the sheer reality of that what he was - the monster hiding in plain sight.

His emerald eyes shifted from her figure to the window and all that existed beyond that glass pane, willing to get lost in that dredge of despondency that had an uncanny habit of weighing him down. What he hadn't expected was the way she reached out to touch him, vocalizing exactly what he felt with an eerie certainty that made him pause. Rather then responding to her efforts to reassure him, however, or her comments of the clown he was focused entirely on one particular aspect. "How do you know how I'm feeling?" He inquired and yet, despite the tinge of suspicion, Tetradore's tone remained entirely level. "I doubt a clown is all you saw." The man added in a moment's after thought, all too aware of the full extent of what he had unleashed the night before, "I know what I am capable of." He leaned back ever so slightly, his food now entirely forgotten and yet, his vibrant gaze stared at her with a kind of intensity. Despite his words, and his gaze, Tetradore had a natural habit to return to that neutral - to that nothingness. It was a technique he had perfect from years of his own personal hell and one he resorted to without even being aware of it.
