East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

"What is it?"

Ever faithful in her efforts Claire had yet again managed to bring him the mail, the girl seemingly fascinated by this delivery process as the snowy haired man moved to take the envelope from her, offering a gentle grin before his eyes drift away to where Calliel had finally fallen asleep on the couch, Frost having simply taken to...watching over her, in a fashion, attention diverted now to the envelope itself as he moved to open it. How on earth some vampire had managed to get his address he hardly knew, violet gaze narrowing slightly in displeasure at this fact before he moved to dismiss it. Parties were hardly his forte, let alone some sort of ridiculous soirée that involved a game of dress-ups. Foolish, childish frivolities and little else. For a few days at least the invitation had been forgotten, much of his time taken up with far more pressing issues- his lessons with Calliel and her transformation continuing, along with his efforts to further teach Claire to master her own power. They were both coming along, albeit slowly, though for now he was content to be patient enough. It is curiosity, perhaps, that finally sees the snowy-haired man reconcile himself to the fact that attending the party would at least provide him with a little more information on just who was around and who may well be worth his time to actually engage with. Although truly he is not entirely assured he desire to engage with the sort of being that found childish costume parties enjoyable. For himself, at least, a costume was hardly a difficult effort. A dark blue hoody, a pair of brown pants and a rather large hooked staffed (a branch from the yard) easily completed the outfit, his hair and youth already easily allowing him to embody Jack Frost- the multiple ironies of it hardly lost upon the Were.

He had arrived early enough, Calliel and Claire both invited to accompany him should they choose, the man lingering outside the bar for several moments yet, lithe, lean form resting up against the nearest street lamp, twirling his staff about absentmindedly like a somewhat frostbitten grim reaper, that shock of white hair visible still beneath the hood of his jacket. He was surprised, perhaps, by just how many of the beings he knew- or knew off and yet by equal standards there was more then one unknown to draw his attention the man moving to head across the street and into the bar when the sudden arrival of a rather elaborate sports car momentarily sees the young Alpha halt. Hmm. Perhaps he should have anticipated the arrival of Tetradore and his band of misfits, lip quirking slightly as Tetradore moved to head inside, momentarily leaving Tobias outside as the imbecile of a man seemed to take fascination in heaven knows what. Sometimes a target is simply far too easy.

"Good evening, Tobias."

His lyrics remain cool, smooth, as he strides forward, the lanky deviant before him seeming almost confused- as if he cannot place the hooded individual. How this animal had survived this long Frost hardly knows and yet perhaps Tetradore merely kept him around for amusement. Nadya's absence is dually noted and indeed for a moment the young man merely finds himself...displeased in that, before his attention returns to the black-haired leopard before him, long limbs moving to stride effortlessly passed. Though not entirely without...destabilizing the Leopard a little. The hooked staff is swung suddenly at the tall man's legs, hooking them neatly before rather effortless pulling them out from beneath him- sending the cat crashing onto the ground with a muted chuckle.

"I thought your kind was supposed to land on your feet- how unfortunate."

Perhaps he was more suited to this childish crowd then he believed, leaving the hissing cat to right himself before striding easily into the party. It takes barely a moment for those roughly concealed violet eyes to find the single vampire he knew, Dareios tall form distinctly and carefully avoided, Frost seeing little need to remind the vampire that he still owed him a rather significant sum of money- a debt Frost had no intention of paying any time soon, his new path bringing him past Tetradore and his small collection of companions. Tonight however, the equine holds little to no interest in the group beyond his momentary amusement with Tobias, ignoring them entirely as he passes. Little more than the ice creeping at Raven's spine like frosted fingers an indication of his presence as he moves to the far end of the room to seat himself- quite content to simply watch and observe tonight. Though the buzzing within his mind was already beginning to reach a fever pitch, the man scowling slightly at the sheer force of so many minds around him. It was near...uncomfortable in its force and yet he was determined to learn to control it, no matter how long it took him. He simply needed to find one mind to focus on- the man distracted briefly from the world around him.
