The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better
In truth, Sebastian had entirely expected to have his inquiry brushed off in favor of the awe the ruthless wild fire seemed to inflict upon the crowd at large. He was entirely taken back the moment his crystalline gaze briefly met the intense slate colored stare of the fae beside him. All too easily, the vampire detected that nearly judgemental stare and yet, little more than a bemused simper crossed his features. After all, in some fashions, Sebastian was entirely the perfectly pruned peacock, all too willing to be the object of his superficial stare. He did always aim to please. Sebastian was all too aware of the simper that crossed the fae's features, clearly, he had passed whatever test the fellow had, not that he had particularly been terribly worried he would in some fashion be found lacking. His pale blue gaze hardly faltered as the fairy turned his attention back towards the original inquiry - the fire.
Briefly his attention turned towards the flickering games, a soft chuckle left his lips as the fairy beside him contemplated all the reasons this fire failed to live up to his expectations. "I can't disagree with you, without the alcohol it's certainly a disappointment." Like his companion, his own baritone voice hinted at his certainly foreign origins - still ever present despite the years that had passed and the fashion at which he had since mingled outside of his country of nationality. France was practically his neighbor and likewise Sebastian had spent enough time within the 'City of Love' that it was all too easy to identify the fae's place or origin. Still, it was the weight of his lingering gaze upon Sebastian's figure that saw the Victorian vampire to avert his attention from the escalating fire. He watched with decided intrigue as the fairy stepped closer towards him and though the words themselves were pronounced far different then he was used to, the meaning was still very much there. Tentatively, Sebastian responded, "Il n'y a pas de mal." (There's no harm done).
The sudden forwardness, however, surely caught Sebastian off guard. He was so particularly used to being the leading party, his prey often more docile or 'had never done something like this before'. Nevertheless, the sensation of the fairy's thumb upon his lips certainly rewarded him with exactly the action he wanted. His lip rose ever so slightly, his nose only just twitching at the smell of the fairy's skin. He was all too aware of the blood running through the man's veins and slightly his mouth opened wider, intending to gingerly take his thumb in a suggestive fashion between his own two lips before, suddenly, his touch was entirely gone.
A puzzled look momentarily crossed the vampire's features, his eyes blinking in an effort to bring himself back to reality from what ever lustful illusion that had been so cruelly shattered. A small simper crossed Sebastian's lips at his companion's words and slowly his head shook ever so slightly. "I should think that what I would do with you hadn't even crossed their minds, and if it had then you have had some very busy evenings of late." There was no hiding the sly grin from the corners of his lips nor that dark look that mirrored was within his irises. "Perhaps I can see to it that your walk here was not entirely wasted?" The vampire was forever fully willing to state his intentions, after all, he preferred his interests to be just a touch willing before his own affinity coaxed that passionate want from somewhere deep within them. Still, there was no harm in at least making himself desireable to the man in front of him and innately, the chemicals his body naturally emitted were ever so carefully rearranged into a perfume that so matched his fae companion's chemical signature.
