North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

The child vampire was no longer plagued by the troubles which brought her into the hotel in the first place. She had been delightfully distracted by Damon and his ever willingness to indulge in her behavior. This, truly, was how a vampire was supposed to be. This was what she wished her dear Sebastian would be. Perhaps if he too simply played with her then her games would be less frequent or at least have a lesser body account. Alas, there was no dwelling on that prospect right now.

Anna-Marie was only too intrigued by Damon's display of power and in turn happy to show off her own. It wasn't her only ability but her first and strongest which had led to the very demise of her own maker. The simple manipulation of the man throwing himself against the door was child's play but worked as demonstration nonetheless. The fact that the man still denied Anna a selection of game meant her patience wore out and she chose for him. Hide-and-seek was perhaps not the most inventive but would satisfy her.

Easily she ripped the door knob from its position to release the man from his illusion of a safe hold. There was only but one way this would go and unfortunately it wasn't in the victims favor. Those predator's eyes followed the man's desperate stumbling from the room and to the stairs that led to the suites above. A small smirk twitched across her features before she took the gesture from Damon and took off after the man.

However, her sprint slowed until she was merely meandering down the hallway of the second floor. It wasn't for lack of knowing where their victim went as the droplets of blood along the carpet were an easy trail of breadcrumbs. As it was though there were other individuals within those suites who were none the wiser to the goings on within the hallways. "So...loud." Anna grazed her fingertips along the doors they passed listening to the multitude of hearts. "So...breakable. --" The petite blonde paused and glanced at Damon, "The red one, she doesn't like breaking, doesn't like vampires to break humans. Why are you breaking humans? Aren't you hers?"
