North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

Flawlessly, the oriental vampire could pick him out amongst the crowd. He was an enigmatic creature at the very core, his crystalline gaze piercing through the crowd. There was a memory dancing on his mind, one that obviously could not possibly include her and yet, for whatever reason and despite all feasibility, he stood. It was such a simple action that rewarded the male with the entire weight of her intense chocolate eyes, her feminine figure sinking back into the plush leather of the booth she settled within. Originally she had wanted to be invisible - a wallflower to watch the ants of the new hill she had found herself within. The last thing she had anticipated was for some one to take an interest in her. It was that thought which caused Chizue to realize that she was surely jumping to conclusions. Just beccause they were the only vampiric creatures within the facility hardly meant he was that interested in her? And really, why should he be? Her lips pressed together and slowly Chizue brought her knees up to her chest, her chin resting upon them in a timid fashion as she reached forward to trace the lines within the wooden table.

She was trying to keep her attention focused on something, lest the girl find herself disappointed when the handsome immortal being no doubt whisked right by her and into the arms of an equally as immaculate creature. A soft sigh left her sweet heart lips as she contemplated the unfairness of the world she lived in - a world where the dead girl was left entirely alone. It was a stark difference from the every busy life she had lived in when she had....well, lived. The proximity of another dragged the young woman's gaze back upwards and quite abruptly, Chizue was surprisd to note that he was still there - his depthless eyes still upon her. He moved through the throng with a predator's grace - the kind that Chizue could not possibly possess. Her dark eyes darted to his hands as he held them up in a gesture of good faith and yet, the oriental vampire still found it difficult to relax under his stare, fidgiting with the hem of her shirt. He nodded towards the seat across from her and briefly the young girl's gaze darted from him to the chair and back again. Slowly her head bobbed, her ebony locks shifting in the simple movement.

Her head tilted to the side as she watched him settle across from her, still somewhat startled that out of all those within the club, he had decided to be here. She watched him lean forward and, without realizing it, Chizue followed suit as if the two were conspirously sharing some dark secret. His words, although certainly not some clandestine phrase, did manage to bring about a weak simper upon her features. For years Chizue had been in the lime light, for years she had loved such a world and look where that put her. It was funny how quick everything could change, how quick things could change her. "I know." She replied simply, a guilty look crossing her features. "I just..." And yet, the explanation died upon her lips as the girl realized she simply didn't have one. "I have no where to get to?" She finally spoke, with a soft, almost sad laugh on her lips. It seemed silly really but it was quite the truth, one so easily coaxed from the lonely girl.
