Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Dorian AragonaHis Royal Highness

It was within those gloriously blissful moments that came afterwards that Dorian was so assured his heart had never beaten so fast nor his breath ever come so hard as it did now. He is left near incapable of moving he is sure, his form merely collapsing against those soft sheets in some desperate bid to recover from the utterly exquisite pleasure he had been subject too but moments ago. To think he might be blessed with a lover this capable! Sebastian's talents, even after all this time, so managing to surpass his own expectations all over again. To think, he had considered them almost equals in their talents between those sheets when all along the vampire had so been holding out on him once more. That devil! He can feel Sebastian's cheek resting softly against his inner thigh and to the touch of the man's lips upon his skin and yet for several moments longer still he is incapable of doing anything other than simply laying as he does, allowing his spent form those few precious moments to recover enough breath that he might speak. He is sure he has never been so exhausted and yet there is no disdain when it is from such couplings as that. Dorian aware weakly still of the vampire nuzzling against his skin in those stolen moments of further affection he so adored, the Fae King so at last finding himself capable of sitting up. It is only now that he is afforded a glimpse of his own right thigh, that skin a veritable patchwork of bite wounds though only one bite is truly deep- Dorian so hardly afflicted with any of the same guilt his lover was so tainted with even if but briefly. The Monarch regretting nothing of those past few moments. After all, flesh healed. It is his own muted words that so seem to draw a response from his lover, that hint of curiousness upon Sebastian's features hardly missed, a soft chuckle humming within his own throat.

"I have experienced such things twice within the same evening yes, but, let us say, I have never before had it occur within the same....act, if you will. There is normally an intermission before act two. I have never before experienced an encore performance."

One eye lifts just so, amused at his own use of words in that moment to so attempt to inform Sebastian of that first he had provided him with tonight, his consort seeming to find his own joy in just that before the Fae King leaned forward to find his lovers lips a final time, Sebastian lifting to meet him halfway in that stolen moment of affection. It is that mention of his lovers Birthday however that seems to distract his companion now, Sebastian so evidently unaware of Elizabeth's efforts to coerce Dorian himself into celebrating the day the vampire so apparently often chose to ignore. After all, while perhaps Sebastian might decline gifts from his adopted family of sorts the housekeeper had bene utterly assured that he would not refuse those that came from Dorian and as such might be somehow coaxed into celebration as he once might have been all those years ago. The vampires assurance that such gifts were hardly necessary is met with a simple wave of the Fae Kings hand, bright silver gaze watching as his lover returned to that place upon the bed beside him with that gift in his hands.

It is that moment of distraction, when his companion was so taken with unwrapping that box and too- examining that gift that Dorian so at last allows his affinity to embrace his lover. He had never before attempted anything of this magnitude, Sebastian far larger and far more complex than the rabbit he had so previously practiced upon and yet it was for that reason alone he had so encouraged the man to take his blood and too- so attempted to stir his heart into that orchestra of thrums and beats to so assist him in bringing life back into the man's body. It was easy to manipulate that life that already existed, those plants within Sebastian's garden such an example of that. To bring back to life that which was dead however, that which held no life at all was a distinctly more arduous task. After all it so required a donation of sorts from Dorian himself, the Fae so having to borrow from his own life force and manipulate it in turn into Sebastian. Having his blood within the mans veins merely assisted this process, his exhaustion from what they had just done but moments ago a rather useful cover of sorts from the strain such an affinity took upon him to use and yet how glorious it was to see that life take hold off his lover! The confusion that so afflicted the vampire was ignored for but a moment, Dorian so allowing his gaze to continue to rove over the man before him now in near awe of how alive he now was. He so loved his consort in any form and in any state and yet how it might make his heart flutter to see him now as he should have looked, as once he had those centuries ago before that vampiric curse.

The thanks he is afforded for that utterance of his words seems to stir his attention back to the vampire himself before that clear confusion, else disbelief, seemed to become apparent to him. Sebastian evidently so having failed to grasp just what Dorian had given him in those moments. Admitting to his lack of understanding as the Monarchs hand so rested upon his own, his features softening so readily now before the sweetest of simpers so traced his lips- fingers entwining then within his lovers own before his head simply shook and he moved to take those sunglasses from the man and place them back upon the bed if only so he might hold Sebastian's attention in its entirety. It took but a moment still to consider just how best to explain to his lover what the vampire had failed to notice, Dorian's words distinctly soft now.

"You know well, Mon Cher, that I have been diligent in my practice of that affinity we discovered that night of the Halloween? You have seen how it is so I might manipulate that life to so coax your own garden into life even within the winter, well, it I so I have come to discover the true power of my own gifts. It was quite by accident I so found it and yet I have learned that I might take life entirely from any being and yet to I can- restore it, even to that which is wholly dead."

He pauses then, to so allow Sebastian to process that which he is saying, Dorian struck but once more in that moment by how truly beautiful the man was so flushed with colour and life and light even if Sebastian himself had not yet recognised as such. Dorian hoping, truly, that the vampire might not press upon him to heavily for those details of just how his affinity worked, the Fae King so assured his lover might take displeasure in the knowledge that it was from Dorian's very life his own had been granted even for but this short time the Monarch could sustain it upon him. How would hardly lie to the man if asked and yet for now it least the Fae is so unwilling to taint that all-too delicate of moments. It is easy then to simply lift his lovers hand still entwined in his own, holding it out before him so the vampire might see it entirely, Dorian allowing those lights of life to pass into view of Sebastian now, allowing the man to see- for the first time in two hundred years- the life so surrounding his form. Sebastian as bright as Dorian himself and glowing just as surely in the fading dark. Those same soft, gentle words offered again, his own voice holding a thickness of sorts that so came from an emotion he himself so attempted to hold back.

"You are as alive as I am right now. You will not fall asleep when that sun rises and it will not burn your skin when it touches you. My gift to you, Bastian, is two hours of daylight, two hours to show me your home in the sun with you beside me. I am sorry it cannot be longer- one day perhaps I will be more capable."

The silence he had so seemed to inspire within his companion was perhaps something of a concern, his gaze lifting to that of his lovers own if only to assure himself the vampire was still entirely well, Sebastian so given to that habit of ceasing to breath when he was in any state of shock and yet, within his newfound living body Dorian was entirely assured his lungs would demand of him to take a breath lest he begin to cough.

"I shall need you to be very brave when that sun rises, Mon Cher, but I promise you, no harm will come to you."
