Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It had been curious to him, in the days that had followed their argument, that the bond that existed between them, tentative and weak as it was- had remained intact all the same. He had believed it a mistake at first and yet there was little in these matters of pack that were ever brought on by error. He could feel her still through that tie that had failed to sever between them as the woman so seemed to dance eternally on that edge of just where she belonged. Eve that supposed death of her brother having failed to break it entirely and it was that, above all, that saw the stallion maintain even that single curiosity that all was not lost between them. That such a bond still existed assured that single truth that Nadya had not returned in full to the nightshade pack. A part of her still remained his own. Even for all that had occurred the stallion remained watchful off her- even from a distance. The woman so refusing to take his calls and yet he had expected as much. Frost having taken to lingering every now and then if only to assure she was well. It was a curious sensation, a ridiculous one and yet some irrational, foolish part of him remained determined to watch over her even if she hardly knew it or hardly cared. He came most often in the night, feeling at those tendrils of the pack bond, searching for her thoughts, reassuring himself she was very much safe before disappearing again. The snowy-haired man remaining far from the west as she had demanded off him and yet too, his doubts over Tetradore remained. Whether the man was dead or alive was something of a dubious matter still. Frost unwilling to prompt any return of that feline ghost that had all but laid waste to the inside of his home.

Thoughts of that green-eyed man were cast from his mind this evening however. Frost having passed that burlesque earlier in the day, the sale of that business hardly lost upon him and yet why the woman would sell that one thing that so seemed to bring her joy and purpose outside of her children remained to be seen. Frost having adjusted his path after that to bring him about the woman's home and in reach of her mind once more. Her thoughts so familiar to him they were almost...comforting, in a sense and yet the stallion so refused to admit anything near as weak as that. One hand reached upward to tuck that medallion beneath his shirt, hands folding into the pockets of his jacket as he mounted those stairs. She would either talk to him or she would not and yet he had lingered long enough. That pain and sadness that had deflected his immediate attention these past few weeks had...numbed to be replaced with more complex emotions the man so often removed himself from. Frost inclined to offer her come privacy in the least, his power withdrawn from her even now as his knuckles rapped against the door before returning to his pockets. Frost leaning against that archway as he waited- that eternally calm exterior seeming to afflict him as always, giving little away to any emotion or thought beyond that almost callous indifference that had served him only poorly in these matters of the heart and yet those shields were difficult things to drop. Dating, girlfriends, affection.....these were new, these were different, Frost so determined to believe all and any he touched were destined to be destroyed and yet for some reason he continued to try with this singular woman as he had never done with any other.

That door opened a moment later. Frost surprised at even this, the man assured she had known he was here if only by the tug and pull of that bond. Nadya declaring that this was hardly a good time, that screeching sound seeing Frost's own features shift into a look of disdain at the wailing girl child lying upon her back on the floor and screaming as if the world itself was ending. For all he had missed in the parenting off his own children he was not displeased to have missed this and yet his desire to speak with that woman before him was surely all the more limited by the wailing girl whom seemed determined to destroy his ears. Her brother, for his part, seemed merely stupefied by the sound else he held no ability to hear it. Hmmm. The girl surely took after her Father then. How unfortunate.

"I can see that."

He answered softly all the same, violet eyes lingering upon the child before returning to the woman before him. The stallion so momentarily indecisive, his lips parting a moment as if to speak, those words never fully reaching his tongue before they softly closed once more, a murmur within that Icelandic language uttered to the woman, an apology of sorts before he moved to abruptly step around her. His movements were deliberately slow, without haste, his form wholly gentle as it seemed he was capable off when he truly chose. Frost unwilling to upset that maternal side of the woman as he moved to seat himself unceremoniously upon the arm of that couch and nearby Micah, the boy staring up towards him so earning the kitten the barest touch of a simper before his own affinity was stirred to life. Those butterflies he had used once before readily seemed to flutter into life, dancing and hovering above Isabella now until her attention was ceased. Child or not she remained feline, that flurry of movement appealing to both her youth and her species. Even Micah appearing intrigued as that crying finally ceased. Frosts fingers tapping softly against the couch, weaving that magic effortlessly before at last lifting his gaze to Nadya.

"Now it seems- it is a better time."

One eye lifted just so, the faintest touch of a tease lingering within those words even if he hardly dare press his luck upon it too overly much. Frost entirely content to do as he had often done before and appeal to that woman's emotions through her own children. For all he had failed in the way of relationships he was not, by any means, unskilled in the ways of women so entirely. They held their own weaknesses as he surely did himself. A mother so forever inclined to favour her children and by that token the stallion remained content to appeal to them. A delighted laugh falling from one of the kittens now as those butterflies swooped and soared. His words as calm and gentle as they always seemed to be in her presence.

"How long do you truly intend to ignore me, Naja? How long do you truly intend to linger between both packs? That bond exists between us still. I cannot change what happened and yet the matter remains. I should like it if you would....come home."

It was perhaps the first time he had ever dared to label his own house a home for Nadya in turn and yet it was rare indeed for the white-haired man to offer any true inclination of emotion from beneath that guarded exterior. His next words seeking to ease her back into that more comfortable conversation again, Frost hardly fool enough to dance upon the edge of those topics that might taunt at her emotions without the buffer of those other queries.

"You sold the burlesque, why?"
