Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellington

I thought you knew I was filthy rich
I thought you knew I never answer my phone
I thought you knew I was a late night with a bad bite I thought you knew.

He was utterly drained in a way that he'd near forgotten the feel of. Beyond those glimpses of life his lover had so gifted him, Sebastian's undead figure had forgotten what it felt to be so utterly exhausted. Though he was certainly physically fine, minus the still light color of bruises that afflicted his pale skin, his mental and emotional boundaries had so been tested tonight in a fashion they had not in near two centuries. That embrace of that bed and the warm sensation of the fae King nestled against his own frame was nothing short of utterly blissful. A soft breath left his lips as Dorian settled upon him, the vampire eagerly meeting that soft caress of his lover's mouth against his own. He yearned for that closeness, for that intimacy in a way hardly unlike his lover's own clear desire for it. It was in the wake of that genteel kiss that Sebastian drew the King ever closer towards him, if such was even possible. There was something wholly comforting in that simple weight of Dorian nestled against his chest. Than again, there was something comforting of the King's presence altogether. It was with Dorian alone that he felt that simple sensation of being right where he belonged. It was a feeling he'd truly never experienced before the man. This was quite truly all Sebastian was assured he might ever really need.

It was the soft sound of his name that drew his attention towards the King and yet, that steadfast faith his boyfriend had in him was regarded with marked caution. He hardly believed, truly, that he was anywhere as strong as Dorian thought of him, even if he unquestionably loved the man with a vengeance. Sebastian knew well what he was capable of in the right situation and, with the right situation, he hardly trusted himself to not utterly destroy that very being he adored most in the entirety of the world. He had not truly considered whether or not Dorian would even be capable of observing withstanding such a situation. Though if the roles were reversed, it was truly not difficult for the vampire to know what he would do to anyone who harmed the fae in the slightest, his possessiveness in the man was perhaps as intense as his love for him. Still, he supposed he could see the appeal of the idea. After all, did not the saying go that true love conquered all? And this love, Sebastian had little doubts, was every bit as true as those fairytales and storybooks. His handsome, endearing King. Idly, he couldn't help but to wonder if that made him the Cinderella of this tale.

The thought alone was amusing enough and yet, the man allowed such a notion to pass in the wake of that simple need to inform the fae of just how he so felt - questionably and irrevocably in love. The soft return of those simple words caused a simper to brush across his lips, those bright blue eyes so briefly eying that red thread that so connected him to the man nestled in his arms. His fingers so toyed with that thread, utterly adoring that bright red color that so denoted the potency of that very emotion that so utterly afflicted them both. He glanced down at his lover, watching silently for several moments as Dorian made himself comfortable against him, that tiredness clear upon even Dorian's own features. It was silly, really, that desire within him to so see the night at least end on some sort of good note. After all, the entirety of it had been relatively shit, as far as he was concerned. And yet, they were safe, and together, and alive. That alone was surely worth celebrating. It was, however, the question of how he might save that evening that so crossed his mind as he mentally went over all that had occurred, his very thoughts pausing at those chocolates he had brought home - as forgotten as they had been.

It was the simple question of them, however, that so prompted an unexpected admittance that Dorian had those very sweets in his pocket. That alone so caught the man's attention entirely, his bright blue eyes steadfast upon his lover's hands as the man reached down to pluck those very chocolates from the depths of his jeans. He watched as his lover unwrapped the first of those chocolates, only to place it oh so teasingly upon the tip of the vampire's nose. He could hardly help the fashion that his eyes so focused upon it, that simple change met a bit too eagerly as he tried to reach his nose with his tongue. His attempts, however, continually fell short until that chocolate nearly toppled off the bridge of his nose and fell onto the bed. He hardly paused before snatching it and shoving it into his mouth, unable to help that grin that touched his lips at that voiced protest. A soft chuckle left his lips even as he bit into that chocolate, rolling that sweet taste around in his mouth as the Monarch moved to fetch that drink, sipping on it only to return with another piece from that mysterious pocket. He hardly complained as Dorian rolled off of him, the vampire instead shifting to his side, propping himself up on his elbow whilst he leaned his head against his cheek. That inquiry on if he wanted to a 'trick' of sorts was met with a ready nodd, and yet, he hardly expected the fashion at which Dorian so tossed that chocolate upwards only to catch it was veritable ease.

"I suddenly have the intense desire to throw food at you." He commented, his tone wholly teasing in it's nature and yet, there was no doubt that Sebastian certainly would have done just that if given the proper ammunition. "The best I can do is tie a cherry stem with my tongue." It was more of a bar trick really, the sort of thing regarded with awe even though it scarcely meant a single thing in the slightest. Nevertheless, his gaze refocused upon the Monarch as he pulled yet another chocolate from his pocket. Those playful words upon the King's lips caused his eyebrows to raise ever so slightly and yet, before he could inquire exactly to the challenge of this, that abrupt disappearance became painfully clear. His eyebrow rose ever so slightly as that crinkle in the bedsheets too vanished before the flutter of those sheets only prompted a soft chuckle upon his lips. That crinkling of that chocolate, however, drew his gaze towards those sheets as the man shifted to move beneath them, peaking at that very spot he was utterly assured the fae King was located at. "Ma Bichette, you should know by now you can never truly hide from me." Besides, of course, that awful attempt to hide, it was that little red thread he so gingerly tugged at, allowing the Monarch to so see what he saw in that simple moment. He held out his hand quite expectantly, clearly intending for that piece of chocolate to be placed within. After all, he had followed the rules of that game, hadn't he? Did he not so deserve that very treat his lover so taunted him with?

Even so, in that utterly sweet moment, Sebastian found himself nestling further down those sheets, letting them too fall over his head to create a sort of crevice beneath those blankets for them alone. A place where Anna-Marie and her threats simply could not reach them. "You know...I met someone...interesting earlier this evening when I was hunting. There was this Dark Hunter who was utterly convinced I had kidnapped you and was keeping you against your will with my magic spells for your blood." There was, perhaps, no real purpose to that tale, that sharing simply due to how utterly humorous he found it now to dwell upon such a ridiculous idea when the King of all of Italy was here hiding under his bedsheets by his own free will. Oh yes, Dorian was quite the captive soul. He could hardly help the small grin upon his lips as his fingers so reached out to that place, his touch entirely tentative if only for that simple lack of sight, and yet, the moment the vampire was capable of grabbing some part of that hidden King, he did so only to draw the man against him once again all the same, as if that distance of those mere inches was still far more than he could bare.
