Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
"Well," Nadya shrugged slightly, "kinda...an appointment is a time you're allowed to go and see a doctor when they're free. They're busy unless you make an appointment. The doctor has to actually take a look at you...in there...to make sure you're ok...and then they'll give you the pills." It was a bit of an awkward thing to have to explain though she supposed no more awkward than the sex ed they had gone over before.
Nadya watched Malia chow down on the chips as she explained how things weren't going to happen with Henry. "Don't get me wrong...I want you to find someone. I just want you to be careful too...I don't want you getting hurt. It doesn't matter who it is, I care." Especially not by someone in the Chimera pack. They had enough trouble right now in that department. She certainly didn't want Malia to think that she was trying to keep her away from being with someone though. That much she wanted to be clear on.
A soft sigh left her lips over the topic of her brother. There would be no convincing the coyote to not try to fix things. If anything, Nadya could call her a true pack mate, a good friend who meant her word of having her back. She just hope it wouldn't backfire and cause Malia to lose one of the few other people she called a friend. Lord knew her brother needed as many good influences as he could get. Nadya's gaze drifted back up from the countertop. "I don't know about that." She chuckled softly. "It's they're first day of preschool today. It caters to supernatural children so that's at least reassuring that the staff will be able to handle them." It was no secret that Weres tended to be feistier around the full moon and children were no exception.
She was quiet a moment, pondering if she should tell Malia before whispering. "I think Micah came into an ability." Nadya had actually been scared when she had that realization. "I've never heard of a child getting theirs so young. I didn't even start getting mine until I was a teenager. My first was the pheromone power which clashed when Tobias used his chaos power on me." Nadya shook her head and decided to start from the beginning. "I was in the garden with them and a bird flew into the window by us. It was on the ground and looked like it was dead. Micah picked it up....and it got up and flew away." Nadya had been stunned, frozen and staring as her toddler simply looked confused at the disappearance of the bird. "I...I don't know if it wasn't dead and he simply healed it...I don't think so...I'm sure it was dead..I...I think he's a necromancer." The implications that that ability held certainly scared Nadya. Her quiet sweet boy able to raise the dead. She had yet to confide in Frost over this.
