Sacrosanct contains four distinct neighborhoods, each with their own specific kind of houses and residents. Explore our districts, view lists of our citizens and enjoy our block parties!
Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Half listening for an answer on where they planned to go to hunt tonight, she downed her flask of tequila. There was no wrong in having fun early, right? Matter-of-factly, she heard James announce they'd be going to the burlesque. "Really?" she surprisingly asked. "I suppose we haven't been there in a few weeks," she mentioned. She couldn't believe it had already been almost a month since her and James arrived in Sacrosanct. She assumed it would be a boring trashy city but to her surprise, she was rather intrigued by the individuals that swarmed about in the area. What interesting creatures they were, quite literally. Pressing the car's window button down, she stuck her head out and felt the icy breeze tug her hair backwards and air intrude into her nostrils. What a rush it was. If she was alive, she thought that would be a defining moment of knowing you were alive. Too bad she never cherished such a trivial thing when she was human. Alcohol helped in the aspect of forgetting plenty of things, like her past.
Before she could reminisce any longer on her human life, the car abruptly halted in what would be a rather dark alleyway but had one single flashing sign. "The Cat's Meow", is what sporadically blinked across the neon lights that illuminated the building. God did it look grungy from the outside. She watched as James started his chivalrous act as he stepped out of the car, opening her door and reaching out his hand for hers to take. She couldn't help but notice his jaw tense and cringe at the fact he had to touch the grimy door to enter the building. Smirking, she went ahead and grabbed for the other door handle. There were just some quirks that were too pathetic to not try and help James with. One thing that highly bothered him was lack of cleanliness. She recalled the first time they had shared a living space together. She didn't deny that she was a complete slob and had no regard for any other inhabitant, so at least she was honest.
She couldn't help but chuckle aloud as she remembered James intruding on her in her room. Not only was another person in bed with her, but clothes were thrown about, wine staining the cups on the nightstand, dust piling in all the corners and crevices, as well as some questionable stains that recently covered the blankets that were hiding part of Lisé and her guests body. His face said it all. His face first stone, then melted slowly into an expression of utter confusion and transformed into a face of complete disgust. That was the one moment that she had seen him completely speechless. To the point he didn't yell, but instead later in the day he briefly mentioned her to "take better care of her space." It was like he didn't want to relive such a nightmare. She saw James smile politely at her as she opened the door for him, of course with a little hint of grimace protruding from his facial features.
Oh, how she absolutely adored when her and James were forced to put on such a cheerful façade. Mostly because many times, she got whatever she wanted, and he had to put up with it in a positively friendly manner. She could care less about the backfire she got whenever they returned home, most of the time she wouldn't remember it anyway. She had dealt with it plenty of times before, so for her the punishments just got extremely boring and monotonous. Surfacing back to reality, James ushered her about the dimly lit, perfume drenched bar, lifting his arm to seat her into the private booth isolated at the back corner of the establishment. It held quite the view, all the exotic dancers were coincidentally all aligned to face them. Both James and Lisé eyed each of the dancers that had barely anything left to hide yet, for a different reason than the onslaught of men slipping the money between the slick breasts lustfully.
For them, the dancers were the perfect meal ticket. Scanning the row of well-endowed silhouettes, she laid her eyes upon a new girl. It seemed to be one of her first nights as she clumsily gripped the pole and awkwardly spun about. Perfect Lisé thought, as her and James' eyes met simultaneously, silently agreeing upon the prey swinging about before them. "We might have a big feast tonight," a smile stretching across her face as she admired her prey's innocence and naivety for what the rest of her night would be like. "You think she's into chicks?" Lisé questioned, still not taking her eyes off the female. "I'll let Mr. Charm school go first," she winked at James, as she started scooching him out of the booth.
