Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

in a moment we're lost in passion

dancing with this chemical attraction

Admittedly, it bothered Sebastian more than he cared to admit that the young woman had gotten past the security at the door, over the fence and into the house without Maxwell, Charles, or himself stirring. Given Dorian's position as head of the Italian monarchy, the man's safety was of the utmost importance to the vampire. The security of that house was clearly....lacking. His dark blue eyes turned towards his fiancé as he stated he would ensure they had a system installed to prevent such a thing from happening again. Heaven forbid any harm came to the man he loved so desperately. Sebastian was oblivious, in that moment, to Vhalla's rather acute study of that single glance that passed between fae and vampire, nor was he aware that the affection they had for each other was so strikingly clear. Rather, it was that brazen tone her to voice that drew his attention. The corner of his lips pulled downwards ever so slightly, that gesture surely showing his rather poor mood at the given moment. "No, I do not think it's going to stop someone from getting it, I expect it merely inform us when someone unwanted is in." He responded rather bluntly, the vampire entirely certain of his ability to take care of said intruders should the need arise.

His navy gaze remained steadfast upon the woman at her insistence that she could do better than all of Dorian's security detail combined. He had, after all, seen the woman's abilities before. He knew what she was capable of. What he did not know was what those men outside their gate could do. A soft breath left his lips as his hand rose to the back of his neck, the Englishman rubbing at that skin as if he knew she was right and yet, he was unwilling to admit so. After all, he tried not to let his possessive tendencies get in the way of the Italian King's desire to venture out into the world beyond without him, difficult though such a thing was. Thankfully, that conversation at hand shifted to Maxwell's capability to be a guard dog, that thing in itself certainly questionable considering the puppy's rather enthusiastic demeanor. Dorian's insistence that he was hardly old enough caused his own head to bob ever so slightly, the vampire hardly unsurprised by that touch of incredulousness in Vhalla's voice at the idea of those puppy preschools. They had, perhaps, become near overbearing dog parents, as silly as such a thing was. Maxwell was still theirs, the closest thing to a child that they might ever truly have.

Still, he was willing, he supposed to have the young woman around more often and that socializing would certainly be good for Maxwell as well. That acceptance for Vhalla to take the role of 'aunt', however, was met with a clear hint of joy within the woman as she brought Maxwell to her face, fully accepting those puppy kisses. He remained silent at Dorian's own tale of how he had come to acquire the canine, the man entirely happy to have his significant other remain oblivious to those more specific details of that story. After all, he'd still not yet admitted to Dorian his own tendency to still return to those more.....bachelor habits. That high one he had experienced more than once by now. Rather, he provided the King with a small simper as his gaze met that striking silver of his fiancé's eyes. That notion of breakfast, and in turn, tea, was one he quite readily took up. God, how he could use a cup of tea. That desire for something more, however, cause the vampire to roll his eyes. "All right, all right." He grumbled, all together aware of exactly what she wanted of him. After all, that evening they had shared that glass nearly a year ago was perhaps the turning point within his own relationship with the woman.

Sebastian led the way from that bedroom and down the stairs to that front room that housed that very liquor cabinet. He dug through that cabinet, searching for that same bottle that Vhalla had chosen nearly a year ago when he had given her free range of his choice of alcohol. He plucked that bottle, placing it and a singular glass at the small table beside the assassin only to flop in that arm chair beside the darkened fireplace. Sebastian could hardly deny that sleep still clung to him, his body feeling entirely sluggish without that heat from a warm bath to assist in bringing the man back to life. Maybe if he asked nicely, Charles would start a fire for him with that breakfast tea. He was hardly attentive to that talk of Europe or the work that had pulled Vhalla away. Rather, it was the mention of their own wedding that brought the vampire back to the present. "February. We had been planning to invite you but...finding your address has been.....difficult." The vampire offered, his gaze turning back towards her. "Try not to leave tonight till we can atleast give you an invitation."
