Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Ashes to Ashes

Anna had honestly quite forgotten about her lost pet. When she had awoken the next night to find the creature gone she had been miffed, scouring the entire house and quite befuddled on how it could have gotten out. She hadn't gone on to search for her beyond that. Surely she had been lost to the wild outdoors. It was a curious thing then to come upon the creature again after so much time had passed. Anna wasn't quite sure what it was, perhaps some mutant cat hybrid thing, either way it was pretty and she was determined to make it hers. Even though she was a vampire, who was supposed to thrive in solitude, she craved the company. Perhaps it was reminiscent of the age she had been turned.

The petite vampire practically stalked up behind the unsuspecting creature only to lift it suddenly straight into the air. Her exclamations of being naughty were only met with squeaks and wriggling which she paid no mind. Anna was pleased to have found her pet and hugged it with enthusiasm. She would have to find a better collar.

She was quite content to leave and take her pet back home but faltered, only to turn back around and lift her to reach those berries she had been after. A grin of satisfaction crossed her features seeing Lady eagerly nab one of those strawberries. She had more of a sweet tooth than fruit tooth but some could be very juicy she must admit. Anna plucked a few more strawberries and tucked them in the loose pocket of her dress for later. "We can tell the food person to get you berries if that's what you like to eat. I hope you didn't roll in something like a dog or you're gonna have to get another bath." She commented idly as she made her way down the street back to her abode.

Anna kept her pet tucked under her arm for the entire walk back. She strolled up the pathway, stooping to pluck a key from under a rock by the front door, replacing it once opening the door before locking it behind her. "Now....collar." There were few places she bothered to wander anymore as they held no real interest to her. Tonight however there was a particular display which she remembered and called to her. The girl meandered down the hallway and through the wooden double doors that opened into a large office with a large antique wooden desk at the other end. It was the glass display case off to the side which Anna made a beeline for it. Inside were various objects of supposed importance from her old caretakers travels, many of which sparkled, but none sparkled so much as a diamond collar necklace she was after. Maybe her caretaker would be cross if she came back and saw it gone but after so long Anna simply assumed the woman wasn't coming back. Anna had to stand on her tippy toes once opening the case in order to pluck the shimmering necklace from its place.

"Now everyone will know you belong to someone." Anna crouched down, placing her Lady on the ground before latching the necklace around her neck. Had the little vampire been more aware of the world she would have probably understood it was more like a beacon on the creature to be stolen for the hefty price they could make from selling the extravagant necklace. "Want another?" Now that Anna was pleased Lady had a better, more permanent, collar, she dug out a strawberry from her pocket and offered it to her. "I think the food man brought more cupcakes too. Come on." Anna straightened up and motioned for Lady to follow her as she made her way to the kitchen.

At least the kitchen would be a familiar place and not one that was stained with any memories of dead bodies. No, kitchens held the best thing ever. Anna lifted Lady up onto the island counter before pulling herself up to kneel on the bar stool and dragging the plastic container with mini cupcakes in it over to her. "He brings a new container every time. They're really yummy." She popped open the container, the smell of the sweetest sugar wafting up with it, and plucked one to set in front of Lady along with the rest of the berries from her pocket. "Maybe we can go play at the playground later. They put in a new part and the slides are super tall and fun." Anna happily scritched her Lady on the top of her head.
