Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He could tell that Dorian was very curious of Tenley yet there was also some hesitance there. He wasn't surprised since Dorian was fae and Tenley was a vampire so of course there would be caution there since he didn't know her or her discipline but Troy had every confidence that she would make them proud. Eventually they all sat down to eat and Dorian couldn't help but voice some of his questions. They talked about the possibility of having children again but of course they weren't trying and weren't even sure it was possible. Then Dorian asked if the pregnancy was normal and Troy shrugged. "Seemed normal enough to me, once we got over the shock of finding out its existence." He glanced over at Amelia, sure she wanted to add more.

When Sebastian mentioned his own Maker as a vampire child, Troy couldn't help his own curiosity. Sure, he'd had to hunt down more than a few himself, since most of them had little to no discipline and in a tantrum, could tear a whole village apart. They were dangerous, but his Maker still seemed to be living so maybe she was different. Sebastian's words seemed to confirm the opposite however, saying she was spoiled at the best of times. Troy scowled thoughtfully and nodded. He could tell by that sudden tension in the air between the couple before him that Sebastian's Maker was a touchy subject, so he agreed to let it go at that. "I see." He said as his only response.

As they sat down to eat, he noticed some hesitation when the fish was brought out but before he could question it, Sebastian had reached for some and was eating it. He seemed pleased with the taste before turning to Amelia as they talked about how Tenley came to be. He told her that he expected she had powers of life and asked if she had fully come into them, yet. Troy was curious and glanced at her, listening attentively. She answered Dorian first about the pregnancy, his lips twitching with humor when she asked what he considered normal. Of course she hadn't expected it since she was a vampire and neither had he. She admitted that she became obsessed with fairy blood and he smirked. "And here I was thinking my blood was just that irresistable."

When she spoke of that day she felt sick and he brought her all that soup and stuff, his own face sobered. He could remember that day as if it were yesterday, too. "I had flashbacks of the Alien movies." He couldn't help but admit. She then got into how they found out she was pregnant. She was very open with them, even admitting that she hadn't been with anyone for a long time before himself. He squeezed her thigh in reassurance. She certainly had her discipline. He couldn't imagine going 25 years without sex. She then told them of the pregnancy and how fast it all was. He nodded along, watching as she ate some salmon which only then reminded him that he had yet to eat.

He was quick to remedy that though, putting some fish on his plate. He went to town, having never been a shy eater. He looked up only when Amelia started speaking again, saying how she'd figured out her astral projection but pregnancy was a new one. She admitted that she wished she knew how to control it since birth control wasn't an option. He glanced between everyone while eating, not wanting to admit that he was thinking probably along the same lines as she was, that neither of them were eager about the condom idea.
