Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Sebastian
His Royal Highness, The Crowned Prince of Italy
A warm simper spread across the royal's features at the promise that the intricacies of their...unique relationship would be largely kept from the Ark's Alpha - and his own brother-in-law. Sebastian was well aware of how his fraternizing might look and yet...he had never before denied himself when he took a liking to any singular individual. Despite his own self imposed boundaries with Carolina, he saw little reason to begin now. The crystalline hue of his gaze lingered upon the young woman as she moved effortlessly about her kitchen. The sharp sound of the styrofoam boxes being opened almost seemed to reverberate loudly in the otherwise quiet space to Sebastian's sensitive ears. Still...how he could smell the crepes, even from his place at her dining room table. The sweetness of the bananas coated in sugar to the rich delectableness of the chocolate from his own chosen desert. How the smells intermingled so potently to the vampire, the man incapable of helping that flick of his tongue against his sharpened canines in subtle display of desire.
His head tilted almost inquisitively to the side at the sound of something else, the bright blue of his irises flickered towards the bedroom as a feline emerged with a sleepy 'meow'. Sebastian could hardly help the glance of surprise upon his features as Carolina commented after her feline. His head shook ever so slightly as the vampire commented he hardly minded them in the least, even if Sebastian had taken to surrounding himself largely by canines instead. It was the musical sound of laughter upon the young woman's lips that drew Sebastian's gaze back up towards the girl and yet...how...quaint that idea was that the pair had merely chosen to exist with one another rather than the possessive ownership Sebastian had over Maxwell.
He cut the crepe with the side of his fork, glancing upwards at the prodding reminder of all that he promised, accompanied with a flourish of Carolina's fork. A soft chuckle left Sebastian's lips, even as he took a bite of the chocolate flavored crepe he'd purchased for himself. The very sweetness of it burst against his tongue, Carolina herself incapable of stopping that soft groan of delight at the taste of her own delicious dessert. This, he was sure, was exactly the sort of thing needed to chase away the terrors of the night that had earlier distressed the young woman so. It was only once Sebastian swallowed that piece of smooth, chocolatey deliciousness that the vampire conceded, reaching up into the air between them to pluck that bright crimson thread out of nothingness. It neatly fell into the palm of his hand, pooling in gentle waves into a neat, messy bundle that he held out for her inspection. The vampire was hardly oblivious to the glance of astonishment upon her features, her fork placed gingerly on the side of her plate before she leaned over to study the seemingly inconsequential ribbon.
Oh, if only she knew exactly what it was. If only she knew everything that he saw. That singular color that could taint his vision, a spider web of connections that filled the earth for him to manipulate, if he saw fit. His explanation of that thread so perfectly left out exactly what it was, the man instead focusing upon what it could do for them rather than it's original true purpose. He watched as that smile of understanding crossed her lips, the woman so clearly trusting him as she held out her wrist.
That ribbon, though it certainly had its uses in assisting him with fulfilling his promise, also had it's limitations. Though it would help him find her, and though it would inform him of when she was close to death, it would hardly inform him if she was in trouble. That distinction was important, as far as Sebastian was concerned, prompting the man to clarify exactly it's capabilities. His insistence that he'd hope he'd notice her absence, at least, prompted a warm smile upon her features.
darling I'll make you my next victim
I need to hear the sweet sound of your moans
