Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
abigail
Abigail was pretty certain that carrots were freaking awesome. They were all crunchy and yummy and like the best snack she had ever had in her entire life - or so she was sure. Well...maybe not the BEST....after all, apples were pretty good. So were oranges too, now that she thought about it. Maybe she should have asked after an apple instead of accepting the first veggie that Frost had given her. Oh well, it was too late now and the boys seemed very very very intent in their super intense discussion of...well...what were they discussing? Abigail's head tilted to the side as she chomped down on another bite of the purple colored carrot in her hand -- that's right, a purple carrot! Her hazel eyes shifted between the two men in front of her as she sat on a stool in front of the kitchen island. Oliver was at his side - though he had refused to sit for some super silly reason. Frost, on the other hand, was across from her with his arms crossed over his chest like HE was actually the grumpy mc-grumpy bear and not the Englishman beside her. Frankly though, none of their conversation truly mattered to Abigail - not when was perfectly content to be with her bestest best friends ever. Really - they were like the orange and apple of her world. Well...no...that's not quite right. Arlo would probably be the apple. Orange and carrot? Her feet kicked aimlessly, however, as the young girl popped the last bite of the carrot between her lips and yet, whatever great insight she had been about to provide the men to prove she was CERTAIN she had all their problems all figured out was abruptly cut off by a scream!
She had briefly heard Malia's return home several minutes prior, though the girl's investigation had led her upstairs rather than inside the kitchen where the rest of the now pack was occupying. Though Abigail was altogether quick to put two and two together (or in this case, scream and the only other person in the house to her knowledge), she could hardly help the way she nearly lept out of her chair in surprise at that high pitched shriek! How Frost's name seemed to echo within the otherwise quiet house! "Um....I think she wants you." Abigail informed him with a firm nod as she gestured somewhere in the vague direction of what she knew was the staircase. It hadn't occurred to her, admittedly, that the rest of the pack's absence was something she should be concerned about. After all, she had only met them all a whole once and that had been just a teensy tiny bit overwhelming for the poor little panda in a den of predators with only her than soon-to-be Alpha to shield her from their super scary teenthies and utter whirlwind behavior - gasp! That was a mouthful of a thought! But that scream definitely meant something SUPER AWFUL must have happened somewhere upstairs - at least enough to distract her Alpha from the discussion at hand.
"Do you think she discovered we took over the closet?" She whispered near conspiratorially to the man at her side. After all, maybe Malia like...was super in love with that closet? Maybe she -- wait wait! A soft gasp left her lips at the sudden realization that struck Abigail. "YOU HAVEN'T MET MALIA YET, HAVE YOU?!" She inquired, her eyes widening as she stared at Oliver. "Oh my Gosh! She's like super duper awesome, she's a WOLF and she can run really really fast and we chased butterflies together!" Abigail was off the stool she had previously been sitting upon, the young girl near dancing around Oliver in her excitement of introducing her bestie best to someone new. "I'm going to go get her!" She all but announced, the Were-Panda near bound towards the base of the stairs, the panic within Malia's voice all but forgotten in her infinite glee. "MALIA!! I HAVE A FRIEND FOR YOU TO MEET!!!" She announced loudly - her shout near matching Malia's own. After all - it was clearly a shouting kind of house if Malia could do it!
