Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Inquisitively, his gaze swept over the expanse of his apartment as Alistair reentered the living room, his jacket in his hand as he fit his arms in the sleeves. The artist was entirely unsurprised to find Carolina had ventured from the place he had left her, the young woman pivoting upon the balls of her feet at the very sound of his return. He hardly questioned after her new location, however, nor her thoughts upon the paintings she stood in front of. Rather, Alistair was far more invested, presently, upon which cafe she intended to drag him off to. It was the prospect of somewhere new that intrigued the man. After all, he tended to avoid utilizing his kitchen as much as possible, the Hunter instead relying upon his sibling and eating out as frequently as possible. As a result, he had wandered into most restaurants and cafes in the general vicinity of his flat. A soft sound of intrigue left his lips as Carolina informed him of the new place across from her apparently favored bookstore before he gestured towards the front door, urging the girl onwards and into the outdoors, the man quickly taking the lead.

Alistair hardly noticed the final glance she gave towards those half finished works of art. Her inquiry over the pieces, however, caused the Hunter's to turn over his shoulder and towards them as he paused at the threshold of the front door. The charity piece was the one, admittedly, that garnered most of his attention - that time limit upon the work lingering within the back of his mind as he informed Carolina of not only their purposes but Em's intention to sell the other, provided he ever finished it in the first place. A little side money never hurts. For now, however, Alistair shook his head, pushing away those thoughts. It was the notion of his artwork bringing in a 'sizeable donation', however, that prompted an audible snort from the artist's nose. He wasn't oblivious to the quality of his work but...Alistair had never managed to sell his art for anything comparable to some of the pieces of the world's more famous modern artists. A few hundred was the most he had seen any piece go for - certainly not enough to be 'sizeable'. "Yeah...maybe." He commented with a small shrug of his shoulders, only to let the woman move past him and out the door of his apartment.

He followed within her wake, pausing only to lock the front door behind him before Alistair fell into step beside the young Were. The quietness between them was fairly short lived, however, before the Hunter inquired after Carolina's comment of bookstore she'd been frequenting in the first place. It was perhaps a poor effort to provoke a conversation between the pair and yet...he was making an effort all the same. The bright emerald of his irises focused upon the slender woman beside him as she laughed, commenting upon her tendency to purchase books rather than her ability to read them. A small simper danced upon the artist's features before he nodded in understanding. "There's never enough time in the day." He agreed simply, after all, how long had it been since Alistair himself had picked up a book? Much less had time to actually read even more than a few pages. To say that life had been..busy of late would be an understatement.

It almost seemed as if Carolina was aware of those thoughts as she inquired after how Alistair spent his time. The inquiry caused a small frown to his features as Alistair contemplated exactly how to answer. "I...honestly haven't had much time for 'fun' lately." He admitted after a moment, "Between work and...well, my maker is training me to actually be a hunter...there just hasn't been much time beyond that. I play the violin though, but it's been a month since I've picked it up." He followed her out of the apartment building and out into the bright sunlight, the jacket around his shoulders serving to keep him warm as the fresh, chilly air nipped at his cheeks. His hands easily nestled into his pockets as he continued down the sidewalk, content to let Carolina lead. "How are things in your Ark, is it keeping you busy?" He inquired, remembering well their first meeting - surely an illegal bar/fighting ring hadn't been bound by the same pandemic restrictions as the rest of the world, of late.
