Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

I will

rise up

in spite of the ache

Henry kept the washcloth firmly against the man's forehead, hoping that the cool cloth would perhaps help a little with the nausea. He remembered it used to work for him from time to time. Ginger ale and ginger tea were also both things that seemed to help. While Henry wasn't an expert on making tea (or cooking anything, really), he did remember he kept a stash of ginerale in the pantry for when he had been out drinking too long or ate some bad food.

Finally Sterling seemed to realize that he was only trying to help, accepting his offer of ginger ale and water. Henry nodded his head softly before he stood, waiting for Sterling to hold onto the washcloth before it fell to the floor.

He hurried down the hallway and into the kitchen. He pulled out a standard glass and another smaller tumbler with a lid. Placing both glasses on the counter, he sifted through the pantry until he found his stash of ginger ale, seemingly untouched. Grabbing a mini can, he placed it on the counter next to the glasses. Carefully, he filled each glass with some ice. The standard glass was filled with filtered water from the fridge while the tumbler was filled with the ginger ale. Once the lid was tight on the tumbler, he grabbed the two glasses and began to walk back towards the bathroom.

Once back inside, he slid to sit next to Sterling, shoulders touching as he handed him first the glass of water, then the tumbler of ginger ale. "Drink slowly, but it should help." Honestly, he wasn't sure if it would actually help or if it was just more of a distraction. Regardless, it was all he could do to not feel utterly helpless in this situation. "How bad do you feel?" He didn't imagine he felt great, but he hoped if it was at least an improvement from last night. Seeing him on his deathbed certainly had scared the shit out of Henry, even though he might not show it.
