Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

I wonder what it's like to be loved by you

Tetradore

His name rang out in the apartment, stopping the Alpha in his tracks. He sighed, glancing over his shoulder as Ryan nervously informed him that the ship was ready for departure. As much as Tetradore would have liked to rely upon him for completing this fix, he had made a promise that he had every intention of seeing it through. After all, if the boat was late to leave the harbor, it would mean even more work for the Were-King, albeit in other facets of his business.

He gestured towards the thermostat, coaxing Ryan to show him how to change it while they waited for someone to come pick the man up, the Alpha altogether unaware of just how his presence seemed to affect his new tenant. It wasn't long, however, until Ryan had left the apartment, arming Tetradore with some knowledge of the different colored wires exposed from a small hole in the wall, and effectively leaving him alone with the young woman who seemed entirely keen to stare out the window.

The view could hardly be that interesting. In fact, Tetradore was fairly certain it was nothing more than other old, dingy, brick apartment buildings as shabby rusted cars passing on the street below.

He stood at the entrance of the hallway, simply watching her for a moment with furrowed brows while this nagging sense of...deja vu continued to tug at him. It was highly unlikely that they'd ever met before. She hardly seemed like the type to frequent the depths of Syn's depravity. Nor were soft, quiet spoken girls like her frequent in the raunchy crowds of the Ark - unless it was on the arm of some wanna-be Alpha male.

She was a Were...wasn't she?

He was fairly certain she was.

Hm...maybe the burlesque? Perhaps? Tetradore had never really paid attention to his sister's girls, the few times he'd stepped into her establishment and she had all but fled the borders of Sacrosanct when her relationship soured.

"...have you ever been a...dancer?" He inquired softly, clearly puzzled by the nagging sensation that toyed with his thoughts. That's what they liked to call themselves, wasn't it? Something more refined than a 'stripper', though Tetradore was of the belief that both wore little clothing in the first place.

His head shook ever so slightly, the man pushing off the odd feeling - after all, it hardly mattered if she was one of Nadya's girls or not. It hardly changed the fact that the A/C needed to be repaired. He cleared his throat, garnering her attention once again as the young woman rose to her feet, her fingers toying with the edges of her sweatshirt in a clearly nervous manner. She gestured loosely towards the door in some attempt to usher him out - as if she was afraid of being alone with him?

Tetradore's head shook again as she tried to reassure him the problem could wait for an undisclosed amount of time - the broken unit apparently less of a concern now then it was before. "Look, if it's all the same to you, I'd rather get it fixed now. I don't know when I'll have time later and it's pretty easy." He reached down into his pocket, fishing out his cellphone just long enough to glance at the time on the screen. "Best buy will still be open for another hour so, I should be able to get you a new one tonight."

His emerald eyes turned upward just in time for her to brush past him and towards the ladder Ryan had left out. He felt the smallest breath of air on her skin as she passed and then...nothing.

No scent.

No unique smell that was made up of her own personal chemistry.

Just...nothing.

It was odd. A power? Did it matter? She clearly wasn't a threat to his pack, much less himself. It was just...unnerving. "Uh...I can take care of that...?" He offered as she strove to collapse the ladder back down. Although he'd never really been one to provide stellar 'customer service', it seemed his efforts tonight were falling particularly flat.
