Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Kato Buhari
The walk to the house from the forest was hardly tiresome for the man who was used to walking miles in the African heat each day. Kato didn't give a thought about dumping the boxes he had carried for Edie in the entryway once inside. Houses and perhaps house manners were all but lost on him. He had never really lived in a proper house, his pack keeping to the aboriginal mud huts for those rare times that they even decided to put down roots during the monsoon season. It was just easier to move with the rest of nature following the food source during the rest of the year. Kato's unconventional upbringing meant the curiosity and slight awe in his eyes was real as he looked about and meandered to the sliding door. There was a bit of disappointment flickered over his features at the sight of the tall solid wood fence that encased the backyard. It lashed in him the feeling of being trapped and the need to move freely.
His attention dragged back over to Edie, questioning her on the rest of her pack. Finding out her higher status within the pack was just a perk. "Oh really? Beta?" There was that amused smirk curling the corners of his lips again. "So that's why you enjoy bossing people around." It was tease as anything else he's said but one, like the others, he couldn't help but make. "Are you embarrassed about your...smaller form?" Kato arched a brow in question before Edie once more closed the distance between them and sealed her lips on his. It did succeed in distracting him as planned. Kato's hands came to rest on Edie's hips, pulling her securely against his broad chest. His size and strength in comparison to her petite one meant he could have easily taken over but he was decidingly dancing along the line of letting her guide the extent of their interaction while also being firm in his grasp on her to encourage it also.
The need for air, as it was in the tent, called for him to break the kiss. His high stamina however meant his chest was hardly lifting any more than usual to bring air back into his lungs. "This kissing thing is becoming a habit of yours. If I didn't know any better I'd start thinking you like me." Kato chuckled, letting his grasp tighten on his hips and pull her suggestively against him before releasing her once more. "I'm sure I could be...persuaded...to keep your animal a secret." His stomach gave a low rumble reminding him of his lack of eating for the day. In both forms he was nearly constantly eating so he was clearly overdue for a meal. "Don't suppose you have any food in this place?" Kato's attention strayed once more to look around at the doorways for any indication of which would lead to the kitchen.
