Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

She is submissive in her contrition, something that soothes the stallion on some level, that more instinctive side of himself easing back at her evident displeasure in her own actions and the state in which she had been brought home, the tears that welled in her eyes so decidedly un-Edie like that for a moment the man is almost caught off-guard by them. His features, as always however, remain untouched, merely watching the girl as he works to remove the worst of her injuries and restore some level of comfort to her. By whatever fault they had come about she remained his pack mate, his position afforded him some duty to her wellbeing all the same, Frost content to offer what he can, what he deems fair before moving to step away from her and afford Kato another blow of fairness before retiring to his more favoured chair, his gait perhaps slightly off, the man favouring his now uninjured side before he eases himself down- attempting to conceal his wound with veritable ease now. It was, to his mind, unimportant and better dealt with later. For now it is Kato whom absorbs his attention once more, the man's stance neither aggressive nor submissive, Frosts fingers continuing to drum against the arm of his chair as he made some basal judgement of the man before him. He was a hard-headed creature in least, brash perhaps, if scent was anything to go by he was some sort of......bull and yet his animal form held little interest to the equine as he continued to observe him coolly.

The sudden shake to the ground sees a momentary frown cross his features, violet gaze drawn downward at the split that had opened up atop his floorboards, ending at his own chair, Frost holding truly little belief such a thing was merely causative as his gaze moved to rest smoothly upon the African man once more, the vaguest tinge of a simper gracing his features and yet there is precious little about such a look that possess any warmth. It is an impressive power and yet if it is all the other man possesses it is a decidedly foolish show of his hand- Frost entirely aware that he himself was distinctly more powerful than this being. His own point had been made, he held no need to display a second and yet for several moments the stallion merely entertains the thought. How easy it would be to render this man utterly extinct of life in a mere second or two. There is a part of the stallion that remains distinctly cruel when he should choose it to be, the very part that had near seen Raven's death some months ago, that had tortured Sorcha at his hands simply because he could and yet......Edie seems to hold some affection for this man. Perhaps it would be better to wait until Edie lost interest in him. His affections for his pack mate seeing his hand stayed for now and yet the notably frosted silence to the room surely offers his response to the broken floorboards entirely without words- until Kato speaks once more.

"Kato."

The word is uttered in a simply, cool baritone, sliding the mans attention towards him once more in the wake of his little....speech, violet eyes momentarily visible beneath that forelock of white hair. He is an intensely private being, the mans mention of his 'girlfriend', a word he did not afford to Nadya, seeming to have trodden upon a nerve of sorts.

"I asked what happened. I did not ask for your opinions. I am not answerable to you and the business of my pack is not your concern. I am affording you the right to be on my territory and within my home- do not press your luck further then it has been pressed."

It is a distinct and clear warning, one uttered with a complete and total calm, though each word is chosen with a deliberate, frigid care. This is indeed not the playful Alpha Edie had enjoyed the company of several nights ago, the stallion seeming to linger dangerously between a calm control and faintly humming irritation that threated to sting like the lash of a whip if given cause. It is fortunate perhaps, that Edie drew his attention once more, features softening as they fell upon her and she herself moved to correct her companion. Good. Her actions seeing him settle further though he remains silent, merely waiting for her to offer him the tale of her evening, the man continuing to allow his powers to envelop her in warmth as she sat up upon the couch. He listens to her story in silence, surprised perhaps that she had gotten into the Ark so easily and yet, why wouldn't she? She was hardly connected to himself, the Ark would admit any Were without prior convictions, he himself held every doubt he would be able to walk in as she had done. Her meeting with Nadya however sees his features frown softly.

What Nadya was to him? What the woman means he hardly knows, Frost himself perhaps....oblivious to an extent in regards to his own feelings, nor how obvious they remained to others, the thought dismissed as the girl continued. That Edie had, however, evidently provoked Nadya was an unanticipated turn, that Nadya was responsible for her injuries an equally surprising facet. He remains quiet for several moments more, fingers continuing to drum atop his chair. A part of him took amusement in Nadya's words, to 'come and get her' an invitation he saw little need to pass up, the image of Edie's decidedly sassy nature riling the panther bringing a quirk of sorts to his lip and yet that Nadya had knowingly acted against his pack mate was....displeasing in the same token. He would speak to the panther, if nothing else, Frost unwilling to allow his companion harmed even if- to an extent, she had perhaps deserved her dip in the ocean. This mention of explosive power however, was new, the man decidedly curious of Nadya's apparent talent. How intriguing. When the words come, they are to Edie alone, offered to her mind.

It was misguided of you to attempt to provoke Nadya, she has been parted from her children of late, though I warned her against it- and she is perhaps rightfully tense. I should have pre-warned you of it and I will assure that Nadya understands I do not appreciate you being tossed into the ocean. Yet your judgement too, was flawed, you took unnecessary risk, I assume though you have learned from this?

He pauses, briefly, meeting her gaze before at last allowing the faintest ghost of a smile to touch his lips

We all make mistakes Edie. You survived, you learned and we will be done with it, do not think too harshly of yourself for it, I do not. It will, in time, make a decent enough story to amuse people with none the less. I am not mad with you. Consider the matter forgotten.

There is a distinct calmness to his words, even offered mentally as they are, privately and to her alone. The unfortunate Kato perhaps given to believe the pair had sat in silence for several moments now before Frosts attention returns at last to the other man.

"Are you staying tonight, Kato?"
