Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He hardly protests the warmth of Sebastian's hand still resting upon his thigh as the Englishman settles beside him. Even Dorian, in so many years of enjoying such things with so many others, is not immune to that need for...closeness that exists in the wake of it. It is however, decidedly rare for the Fae to ever choose to indulge such a want, Dorian more often then not actively seeking to distance himself from his partners and yet he hardly finds himself afflicted with the same desire here and now. Indeed he very near desires the opposite. The realisation of such a thing sees him frown, if only ever so slightly and yet with his breathing still ragged and Sebastian's venom still lingering within his veins he finds himself uninclined- at least for now, to allow such a thought to take hold. Would it be so terribly wrong, for even just a moment, to simply enjoy the other man's company? Dorian shifts slightly atop the sheets, allowing his lips to brush the other man's cheek in a moment of lingering affection and yet the gesture sees his side press against Sebastian's all the same. Dorian finding himself slightly more content in this even if it was still not exactly as much as he desired. His hands rather reluctantly kept to himself- though truly had he his way he would surely have drawn Sebastian closer still. The near jesting words the vampire offers bring another chuckle to his lips, distracting him now from his own thoughts. Ah, but if Sebastian only knew how good he was! The vampire significantly skilled enough to be entirely pleasing to Dorian as so many were not.

"Yes, mon amie, you have done decidedly well. It also means I simply find that I like kissing you- so I did it again."

Dorian is, in some regards, entirely forward. Perhaps he remains decidedly guarded upon the depth of his own level of affection for the man beside him and yet with those gestures he does choose to offer he sees little need not to allow there true intent to be known. It is only the distraction of Sebastian's shirt spotted atop the wardrobe that so seeks to draw his attention away from his own thoughts once more- gesturing to the rouge piece of clothing. The other man's mention of his good aim sees his lip quirk once more, Sebastian's hand upon his leg still an entirely welcome gesture Dorian makes no effort to remove.

"On the contrary, it is the result of a lack of aim entirely. I am not nearly tall enough to get that down."

That, at least, would be a problem for another time. Sebastian seemingly content to simply lay back against the sheets, the both of them afforded at least a little more time to simply breathe. Such exhaustion however, is entirely welcome, Dorian finding himself completely satisfied and wholly content as he lays beside his companion. He makes no move to hurry, just as Sebastian suggests. Indeed he almost...savours those moments of contended silence, knowing entirely well that Sebastian would surely do as he was supposed to and return to his own home tonight. Leaving Dorian to sleep alone, something the Fae King distinctly prefers- most of the time. A sudden, soft sound from outside briefly sees Dorian glance over and towards the far window, the barest gap between the curtains assuring him of the rain that had started. He never had fancied rain. In truth he had never fancied water all that much and yet the rapidly increasing downpour outside only further inclined the Fae to remain within the comfort of his bed.

It is only when his heart rate has slowed sufficiently that Dorian at last rolls slightly to the side, pulling out the drawer beside his bed, reaching within it a moment before grasping something within his hand- rolling back to rest against Sebastian once more. He gestures for the man to hold out his hand before placing something coin-like and cool within it. It would be decidedly inappropriate, after all, for Sebastian to offer him a gift, only to be denied one in turn. Such a gift however is....decidedly ancient in origin and yet he suspected Sebastian may still be old enough to understand it. Even if the meaning of such a thing may be lost to the more modern world.

"I did not have terribly much with me when I came to this city- of these though I have several and as such I am affording you one- if you care to accept it."

It had been years, truly, since he had offered anyone a King's Seal. The object akin to a large coin in appearance, one side adorned with the flag of Naples- at least, what it had been in Dorian's day- the other side engraved with Dorian's own personal coat of arms. It was exceptionally ornate in design, the seal itself made of nothing less than gold, ivory and silver. Dorian's coat of arms held between the black griffins that had long represented his country, the shield they held decorated in several symbols of his kingdom, the crown atop surely speaking for itself. Royalty after all, were the only ones permitted to ever bare a crown upon their seal. Dorian pauses, silvery gaze lifted briefly to Sebastian, searching for any hint the man may not understand what he had been given and yet surely he held some knowledge of it? Such a thing, once, was quite the display of friendship. Within his own age it would have afforded Sebastian rather a number of privileges denied to any other, the mere sight of it would have seen any number of peasants and minor lords alike scrambling to earn Sebastian's favour- if only because he held Dorians in turn.

Within this age and this kingdom it surely did not entitle the vampire to all it once would have and yet, in Dorian's time such things were given to those he...favored. A very clear sign of his approval for whomever carried it. It is the most appropriate gesture Dorian can afford him, his own token of affection perhaps and something decidedly personal all the same.

"It does not, I fear, do all for you it once would have and yet perhaps one day it might be of use to you."
