Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Nadya Tetradore

Fashion and clothes in general were easy for Nadya to discuss, having a natural eye for such things which seemed to make running a burlesque easier for her. While Nadya worked the hair color into the fae's follicles she returned to the designed dress. "Some thought opening the Cat's Meow was silly...and now look at it." Nadya shrugged slightly. "You can't let others stop you from trying things or you'll never know what it's like; an eternal could have should have." Nadya carefully set the empty color bottle into the trash before twisting Sam's hair up and placing it under the cap.

"I still think you might like earning your own money." At least Sam didn't seem like the type who just let someone pay for everything and didn't work for at least some of it. Nadya leaned back against the table as Sam scurried away briefly to retrieve a notebook only to shove it into her hands. Thoughtfully the young woman flipped through the pages, actually inspecting the sketches with a critical eye as a business person would. "I don't see why the girls couldn't wear what you make. I'm not promising anything of course, Lyrica and I would both like to see a few prototypes for the girls to wear and see how they actually move in them." Nadya smiled as she set the sketchbook aside only to switch her attention to Micah. It was subtle, but Nadya caught the flicker in Sam's eye from the newfound title that fae queen had. As Nadya saw it, Sam may be serious with her brother, but she had been loyal in both the business realm and as a friend both with and without the twins, for that she felt Sam should have the title of being their aunt. The young mother was sure that even if Sam wasn't dating her brother or if it ever for some reason didn't work out that it would remain the same.

While Sam took over holding Micah, Nadya plopped Izzy onto her feet in order to let her toddle around while they waited for the color to sit. Micah scrunched up when Sam peppered the kisses at his face, a broad innocent smile on his face and a light giggle shaking his small form. "How is your ward fairing? Has he learned how to work the toaster yet?" Nadya really didn't know what to think about Dorian. Although he was pretty harmless, she was well aware that being naïve could also be just as inadvertently dangerous. It was a different kind of naïve than Tobias but certainly for a mother just as worrisome if the twins were going to be there for babysitting. Nadya trailed behind Izzy as she edged along the furniture in exploration. Each time the toddler grabbed onto an object she would wriggle it from her grasp and gently nudge her along. "Maybe you could talk to some of the girls from work who you say have fallen in behind you to help...teach him. Some of them I know for a fact do nothing outside of work besides going to parties anyways. They might as well help you."
