Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellingtonget close enough to have fun
but not enough to get attached

That all too warm simper brightened the vampire's otherwise pale features, his bright blue gaze entirely settled on the man that sat across from him as he so effortlessly found himself nearly teasing his companion on the number of firsts that he had so greedily stolen for himself. It was perhaps Sebastian's own personal quest, to fill as many of those first memories as he was capable of, regardless of the cost - monetary or otherwise. It was entirely peculiar, the way that, in such a short time, Dorian had become so much of his world. The monarch occupied so much of his waking thoughts that waiting the expected seven days between each meeting became all the more difficult. He past two weeks alone had been veritable torture, his body merely aching for this moment. It was the prospect of this that got him through those particularly....challenging...moments with Anna Marie. This, even without the sex, was utterly perfect. That grin remained all too pleased upon the vampire's lips at Dorian's admittance that those moments Sebastian had conquered for himself at times required repeats. The vampire leaned forward ever so slightly, his words but a velveteen whisper in the altogether intimate space. "I do not mind giving you seconds." He responded, pausing before adding, "Or thirds, or fourths, or hundredths."

The truth of the matter was that Sebastian hardly saw himself getting tired of his companion. In fact, it seemed as if every passing encounter only drew him further towards Dorian till even the simplest brushes of the man's hand were so capable of bringing warmth to his frigid soul. Oh how love so afflicted the once unattachable casanova! It was that which had caused Sebastian's thoughts to linger upon Dorian whilst he was away, and that too which saw the plethora of gifts that were so effortlessly pushed across the table for Dorian's perusal. He watched in silence as Dorian's fingers so toyed at the golden wrapping paper upon the first box, knowing well the man would be unable to deny himself the inquisitiveness at what rested inside. A small simper crossed his lips as he sipped upon the ruby red wine within his glass, his gaze resting entirely upon Dorian's features as the man uncovered the bottle of cologne he had purchased for his companion. It was a decidedly small gift, one that, although some might argue as effortless, Sebastian had put particular thought within. The reaction he was given brought a small sense of satisfaction to the vampire. He was, of course, altogether pleased Dorian had liked such a gift and yet, it was entirely safe compared to the trinket that rested within the much smaller box. Purchasing jewelry, after all, was far more of a delicate process then a scent.

He watched with meticulous care as Dorian so cautiously pulled that golden chain from the box it had been delicately placed within. He knew the stone alone failed to convey that which he so wished Dorian to have - that which he was momentarily incapable of providing. Softly, his words reached out to his companion, explaining that this, as magnificent as it was, was but a placeholder for the coin he fully intended to provide Dorian with once that visited his own homeland. It was nerve wracking, this providing of even the suggestion of his family's crest and the too associated coin. He hardly expected Dorian to reject such a thing, not when the King had provided his own and yet...the truth of the matter was that Dorian alone would be the first individual he had ever brought back to his family's estate. Not even his own deceased wife had seen the acres he owned, the vampire having altogether lied at even holding them within the first place despite her inquiries. Not to mention the simple fact that he'd never seen fit to actually provide anyone with his own token of favor. This was, perhaps, the most meaningful and telling of presents that he could have provided the King, although he doubted the monarch knew exactly to what extent.

Sebastian watched as Dorian slowly picked up the chain, slipping it over his head so the polished gemstone so delicately hung against his chest. It was that simple gesture that so sees a soft breath of relief leave the vampire's lips. It was terrifying, this putting himself on the line for the chance of rejection, even if he hadn't truly expected it. Still, the fear that Dorian might not like his temporary placeholder had plagued him for hours after he had purchased the stately necklace. His gaze remained upon the fae King, entirely aware of that breathtaking simper that so beamed across his features as he uttered his particular like for this gift. The vampire hardly hesitated in too leaning forward, meeting Dorian halfway as his lips so sweetly brushed across his companion's in far too chaste of a kiss than Sebastian found himself desiring. Still, the vampire leaned back into his seat, watching the way in which Dorian's fingers so toyed with the stone.

The sound of his name, however, pulled the vampire from the thoughts that drift across his own mind, "Hm?" He inquired immediately before the man's question fell from his lips. The question of their meal brought small simper across his own features as he glanced upwards towards the staff standing quietly in the corner. A small flick of his wrist was all that was necessary before the two disappeared into the kitchen to fetch exactly that which was so missing from their table. "It is called a Beef Wellington. We're well known for it. You'll only find it in more...upper class restaurants. It is one of the finest slices of meat smothered in duxelles and prosciutto and surrounded by a puff pastry." There was an undeniable hint of excitement within the man's voice, Sebastian clearly looking forward to this piece of fillet mignon. It was so rare for the vampire to indulge in food that when he did, only the best would truly do. "Here it is." He nodded briefly towards the approaching waiter before a plate of the very substance was placed in front of them complete with perhaps equally as delectable sides. It was a veritable feast for two - exactly as Sebastian had promised.
