The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. I understand the loyalty she must feel for Frost since he's been nothing but good to her. I feel that same loyalty for anyone who has shown me kindness since I left my father and his pack. Raven was the first to gain my loyalty but she mistook it for betrayal when I led Frost away from her. She thought I was choosing him over her when really I was only giving him what he wanted so he would leave her out of it. I would sacrifice anything to save my friends but she didn't see it that way. Nadya is another I feel loyal to because she saved my life and has been nothing but kind to me from day one. She plays with me and is friendly to me every time I come across her. I admire her bravery.

I was once loyal to Tobias but that day he shot a harpoon at me changed that and now I need an explanation and I plan to get it one way or another. Alexander is still very dear to me and I'll never forget the kindness he has shown me, among other things.

My eyes widen in surprise when she says that she has seen him put himself second and my ears prick forward, ready to hear her out. One ear flicks back however when she says that Frost is interested in Nadya. I'm sure the surprise shows on my features that I didn't know this. Frost and Nadya? I know she's quite beautiful and full of confidence and power, probably definitely someone he would want in his pack but she must mean that he wants more from her. I never even knew Frost had it in him to feel anything more for someone than wavering curiosity.

I try to brush the thoughts away and focus back on what she's saying. She got hurt and her boyfriend brought her back to Frost. He took the wound on himself and I tilt my head, clearly impressed by this act. I didn't think I'd ever hear of him doing something like that. But is it because he truly cared or because he wants to convince her that he does? He could sway it either way in my opinion but I won't say that to her. Her loyalty is admirable for him and I won't be the one to take that away. She has found someone to trust and I want that for her above all else. When she tells me that he cares and that he likes her for her, I smile and nod. "I guess so. Well I'm happy for you. You're right; he didn't have to do that and he chose to. That says something." I wag my tail.

Watching as she stretches out, I sit down in front of her, relaxing on my haunches as we move the subject to our former packs. I scowl when she tells me that she was used to experiment on. "That must have been horrible." I say in a soft voice, my brow furrowed in concern as if it's happening right now. I shake my head. "Maybe some day I'll find that as well." I smile brightly when she says that she would like to try to be my friend. I can see that she's a very guarded person and I don't blame her at all. I still have walls of my own. I'm just a little better at hiding them now with what I've gone through.

I duck my head a little at the thought of getting attention from men. It's bad enough to remember the intimate night I had with Alexander. To think of inviting that kind of attention on a daily basis just seems overwhelming. I tilt my head in curiosity. "Would you...go to a club with me? I've only ever been for social events and I think I had a little too much to drink last time but I'd like to try again, if I have a friend to go with me."
