South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Now I am Unbreakable

I didn't mind trying to give Abby the only apple that I could reach. She wanted to come here after all and well, I wasn't going to deny her what she was wanting. So, when I manage to grab the apple I can feel her begin to move around on my back. Slowly I turn my neck around lowering my dial slightly so that the ginger raccoon could take the apple with her glowing green paws. Patiently I wait to allow her the chance to enjoy her treat while also telling her some bad news. When she extends the apple towards me to take I shake my head not wanting to take what I assumed was hers. However, she kept insisting and I didn't want to disappoint her so I quickly took the apple from her, and held it, unsure with what to do. I mean technically I gave this apple to her, for her to have, and she was returning it to me. I didn't mind if she ate the apple. Yet she was rather adamant and so I will do as she wanted. I'm not sure why she needs to stand on my head. I mean she was a tree-climbing creature and I am sure she could waddle her way up the trunk of the tree. Yet I could hardly be rude.

"Sure, I don't see why not. You settle up on my head and I'll try to get you as close as I can to the lowered branch."

I keep my dial still for a moment allowing the girl the chance to settle for a moment. After all I don't want her to take a misstep and fall to the ground. That would be an awful fall and I don't want her to get hurt. As she begins to climb over my nose, I snort softly, and stay still. With Abby now settled on my head I slowly turn my neck around and head upward towards the lower branch of the apple tree. I keep it slow of course, hoping the ginger raccoon is indeed holding on. I do manage to get her as close as I possibly can to the lower branch. It seems study, at least I think it can carry her weight. Hopefully so, because that would be a terrible fall if she doesn't. Keeping my head still I softly encourage Abby to get a move on and climb up the tree to get the apples.

"Okay, that's about as far as I can go Abby, think you can get up there?"
