South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Navi had scoured the area for what seemed to be an eternity. She had convinced herself that the park was indeed deserted and there was no culprit behind the crunched leaf. Proceeding to settle down she reclined back in the tree tried to clear her mind. As she noticed her eyelids were getting heavy, there was an unfamiliar rustle within the tree's surrounding her. She had spent much time in nature, trying to escape from any sort of contact with anything, so her listening skills were a touch sharper than the average person. For her, there was something unnatural about rustling of the trees. Thinking it was just her imagination, she brushed the thought off, impatiently wanting to rest her eyes until she had to get up at dawn to relocate. Squeezing her eyelids together she tried her best to block off any thoughts that came to her mind. "It just must be a windy night is all," she tried to persuade herself. "There's no need to worry, no one comes to this spot of the park at night," lazily sighing.
Not even a millisecond after her statement, something small, warm and fuzzy plopped right into her lap as if it fell from the sky. Extremely confused she jerked to the side almost falling off the branch, finding herself caught in an awkward juggling act of trying to catch herself and the tiny thing that had tumbled right into her lap. As she was processing why this animal abruptly dropped from the sky, she could hear a small voice. It was...surely not coming from the petite...dog?
The animal seemed panicked as it was trying to explain about a dark hunter being near. Navi amazed but confused, didn't understand how the dog could communicate with her without speaking. That of course wasn't necessarily the problem at hand though. Surely the small animal saw any color drain from Navi's face at the word "Dark Hunter." She had never encountered one but never really had desired to meet one. The tiny creature looked up pleadingly at Navi as if she held the power to do something to save them. She hated people relying on her but she had a soft spot for animals. In this instance as well, not only was the little animal's life on the line, but hers. "Let me think," she stated but she knew she didn't have much time to do anything. Crouching down and positioning her legs into a runner's stance pressing the animal tighter to her body, she whispered, "You have to promise to remain quiet about this...and what you're about to see.". Suddenly out of nowhere the creature was zooming through different blurred trees. Amid it the tiny animal gazed up at the strange girl who seemed oddly calm. Navi was prancing about the forest but not even the creature's sensitive ears could hear her make even the slightest sound as she tip-toed from tree branch to tree branch. She understood that even though her kind were small in stature, she had an extremely petite frame that made her hold an advantage in fleeing. They didn't stop until they reached the outskirts where she knew no one sane dared to go. "I think we lost them," she sighed. She gently placed the animal down in front of her and then advanced to plop herself on a mossy rock trying to catch her breath. After a few moments of collecting her breath and thoughts she asked the small creature, "Can you even understand me?". She watched as the small animal nodded. "I don't know really how you can communicate with me but I'll take you back to the park tomorrow morning." "Just...don't speak of what you saw tonight. Not even to your best dog friend or whatever," she demanded. Curiosity got the best of Navi though and she couldn't help but ask the animal, "What even are you?". For Navi, had never encountered a were-creature before or the other races that lurked about.
