South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

For the past week and a half the young lupine was going through a rough spot. During the day while she was busy working in Tetradore's office or preparing another meal for the pack, Raven was undergoing a lot of horrendous migraines. The pain within her head seemed to travel from the front and back of her skull, down her spine, and eventually spreading throughout her body. It was frustrating to no end when the pain occurred. Taking medicine like aspirin didn't help. Hiding in the deep bowels of the ship, sitting in the dark, didn't offer her any sort of relief. Going to her witch friend and taking a potion offered her little to no end to her suffering. The pain in the back of her head came with a buzzing feeling, her ears constantly ringing, triggering the she-wolf to know why she was going through this agonizing ordeal. It had been a long time since that other half of her had broken out. With Henry now a part of their pack his presence alone was promoting her other half to make an appearance. Being around her Alpha and mate it gave her the security she needed, knowing that it would not come out if they were around. Unfortunately, their presence alone would not allow her comfort for long. Raven needed to let that other half out, and she had to do it soon.

It pained the peculiar colored lupine to leave her pack during the few nights of a full moon. Being with her pack during the nights of a full moon brought her so much joy. The tether between them was much stronger between them and it satisfied her to no end. Deprived of this feeling from her former pack most of her life she cherished these moonlight escapades. However, tonight she had to politely decline, something she knew her mate and Alpha would notice it as unusual in her nature. After many times of reassuring them she was okay on her own, she bolted without hesitation to the woods in the South. Deep within those dark woods Raven knew she could unleash that other side of her without harming any of them, and hopefully, no one else. The time when she made it into the woods and when she finally released her feral side was a moment she could not recall. It was in full control now and right now all it wanted to do was run, until it was no longer the predator. There a Dark Hunter that assumed the gigantic werewolf would be easy to take down, and clearly the foolish prick assumed incorrectly.

For whatever reason the Dark Hunter thought that by leaping onto the back of the bear-sized wolf was a very good idea. The man's slammed a large dirk right underneath her shoulder causing the supernatural creature to and Dark Hunter to fall to the ground. Getting back up on her four paws the angered she-wolf snarled as it leapt onto the fallen man, the animal not holding back, as her jaws clung onto his body. Blinded by its fury Raven began to bite into the man, as he shirked and hollered, which only seemed to entice the lupine to continue tearing into him. As soon as the yelling stopped and the body stopped moving, the she-wolf lost interest in it. There was something else far more interesting, the scent of food. With a low snarl the she-wolf moved away from the fallen Dark Hunter, moving towards the direction where the scent of deer was noticeable. It was during this walk where the feral creature was starting to lose control towards the other half, however it was faint. Losing its ability to walk the large wolf stumbled and fell to the ground, panting heavily as her eyes closed for a moment. Her dial would tilt upwards as her eyes reopened, looking up at the bright silver moon, her mind still hazy as two different beings were trying to get control.
