South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Abigail hardly seemed offended by Malia's use of the word cute. In fact, she seemed absolutely tickled, like it was a huge compliment. It only made Malia like her more. She'd be easy to get along with anyway. She could see that she was helping ease Abigail's fear around her. She still seemed uncertain about her but Malia wasn't smelling fear in the air like she was just moments ago. Still, Abigail kept eying the rabbit at her feet. She thought about going to bury it somewhere or something, just to get the elephant out of the room, so to speak. But then that would just draw attention to it again and Malia didn't want that either. She decided to purposely ignore it for now and hope Abigail gave up trying to picture herself as the next corpse at her paws. Sitting down seemed to help a little. She could see Abigail easing up even more. The idea made the tip of her tail thump the ground a little in reassurance. Abigail seemed quite proud of her skills in cooking and Malia was eager at the prospect. She'd seen Nadya and Frost cook. Frost had even cooked meat for her even though he didn't eat it. But having someone else around to cook seemed even better.

But she could tell Abigail was confounded by the idea of cheese fries. She tried to explain them the best she could but Abigail seemed less than impressed at the idea. She must be explaining it wrong. She offered to find out how to cook it then they could have them together and Malia nodded eagerly, her eyes twinkling. "Yeah! You're gonna love them, I know it!" Malia could tell she'd throw her off guard by asking what she did for fun. She tilted her head expectantly, wanting Abigail to know that she was genuinely interested. After all, she got bored a lot so surely Abigail would have some ideas that she could try too. She didn't go to school or do anything more humans or even Weres who had grown up knowing who and what they are did so it made things less accessible to her. She had no driver's license, no social security card. Nothing to identify her beside her name, which she only knew cause it was written in permanent marker on a dirty teddy bear that she used to carry around with her as a pup.

She never knew where she got it from, only that it was important and smelled familiar. She still had it on her bed in Frost's house. She didn't quite know what it meant but somehow she knew that it was hers. Abigail admitted to never watching tv and Malia's eyes widened. "Never? You don't know what you're missing! I'll have to show you sometime!" She wriggled on the spot in excitement at the prospect. Abigail asked what she watched and if she should try. Malia nodded. "Definitely! I pretty much flip through channels till something catches my eye. I don't really keep up with names of the shows or anything, just the scenes that have the most action and catch my eye. Then when they get boring, I change the channel or turn it off." Then they moved the talk to butterflies and when she asked if they got harder to catch, Abigail assured her that she could probably catch them easily. She smirked. She never minded someone complimenting her hunting abilities. She prided herself on that and her fighting skills.

When she mentioned Malia's pouncing skills, she grinned. "Only the best! I was always able to catch the other pups unaware when I was younger." She nudged her head upward into the trees. "I bet you can catch them when they go high though, being able to climb all over the trees and stuff." She figured it was only polite to notice something Abigail did good too. Then she smirked. "Want to go hunt some butterflies and put our strategies together? I bet they wouldn't stand a chance." She grinned in excitement, her tail wagging.
