The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The long ride yesterday left Nadya sore but when she returned to the saddle it felt more natural. Nothing like a full days ride to acclimate. Although silence wasn't completely normal for Nadya, she did have children after all, in her times with Frost it was a blessed reprieve at time. He didn't mind the quiet and never bothered Nadya when she needed that time too. It wasn't like their breathtaking beautiful surroundings didn't leave anything to admire or think about. Iceland seemed to have its worlds color vibrance and saturation meter turned up compared to the world they just came from.
When they finally arrived to a place where the breeze carried the sounds of the encampment, Frost stopped and his familiar voice joined her thoughts. Nadya nodded in understanding before dismounting and hiding their supplies as instructed. It would do no good if they had to flee and had nothing to sustain them back to civilization. She hadn't noted any prey on their journey that she would have been able to hunt in her panther form. Nadya returned to the saddle and with slight tension for the unknown watched as the walls of the hunter camp loomed larger and larger until they stood before the gate.
How foolish it would sound to someone, two Weres going in alone to a hunter camp. Yet, here they were standing their ground as the guards made their quick visual check before opening the gates to them. If only this entire venture could be so easy but something in the young woman told her that it would get much harder. Nadya was quite surprised at how busy it all was once they were inside. It was like a metropolis with the hustle and bustle and little buildings outcropped for one purpose or another. Were all these horses Weres? How was she going to be able to tell when they were all treated as simply another animal. Those ponderings were interrupted by a flurry of chaos and Frost's instruction not to look. Surely telling someone not to look at something was the surest way to make them look. It took a moment for her to comprehend what was going on and it made the fire prickle in her veins. Frost was right to make as quick of a beeline away from it as possible or Nadya wouldn't have been able to contain herself was intervening. Mothers had a tendency to stick together when their young is in danger.
Nadya's head whipped around at Frost's sudden halt. Who was the unfortunate being to derail an agitated mother? Nadya eyed the hunter with a quirk of her brow as he so easily leaned against Frost as he tried one of the oldest lines in the book. Apparently when a hunter wasn't ripping families apart they were hitting on anything that had boobs. Her silence also apparently meant the man could continue on in trying to gain her affection. It did tickle her so on seeing and feeling the tension in her stallion at the hunter's antics. If only they weren't inside the camp then Frost could really teach him a lesson. Nadya wanted to lash out at him just as well, tell him to keep his filthy hands off her boyfriend. It was hard to contain and keep the twitch of her features when the hunter smacked Frost's shoulder. She knew it hardly hurt Frost but the act of disrespect made the fire of her panther itch beneath her skin once more. Hardly in a few minutes and already they were all testing their limits.
Frost's voice touched her mind once more but she could hear that irritation in his tone. "I was hardly able to shake you off so easily." A jest though it was she understood what he meant. How to turn a guy down while not making him dislike her...yet cease his incessant attempts at flirtation? "I just transferred for the season. I was supposed to be met at Sundaport by one of you who never cared to show up. Unlike some of you I do my job and will be on patrol duty tonight." Nadya knew how to put on a show if nothing else. She had notated one of the other ports in Iceland and put that knowledge to use. Nadya glanced over to the colt standing behind the man, "Your halter's on backwards." If she learned nothing else it was how to put gear on a horse. She had studied that at Frost's insistence. It felt good to poke at the hunter's inadequacies after he just tried to be so suave with her. Nadya gently urged Frost to move, only glancing back at the hunter when they were a good distance away.
Nadya tugged slightly at Frost's mane to get his attention, inviting him into her mind. It was an odd feeling, trying to talk by simply thinking but she didn't dare speak aloud until they were alone. "Where are we going? This place deserves to be burned to the ground, not just taking some of our people away." Horses or panthers didn't matter now, they were Weres who didn't deserve to be treated like beasts of burden.
