There was one time when Raven was naked in their room and a new staff member, that happened to be male, accidentally stepped in her room. Surprised and embarrassed she attempted to cover herself, but before the man could take a step back and shut the door he was pounced upon by her spotted companion. Tobias was human but had taken on some of his animal parts, he quickly pounced upon the man, his claws sinking into his chest as his long spotted tail thrashed angrily behind him. Her mate roared in his face and then began to speak vehemently, in which she couldn't comprehend what he was saying. Grabbing a blanket she covered herself and went over to him, beseeching to the boy to let the poor man get up. The curly-haired woman was certain that the Tobias before her wouldn't go so far as to treat another in such a manner, and yet he was a part of a man that had very turbulent mood swings.
Seeing her husband perch himself casually along the railing a small frown appeared. His other half was a cat, and yet that didn't mean she was comfortable with him sitting so carelessly along the edge. Lifting herself off the chair she walked easily over to him. Every day she did his bidding do whatever sort of activity he wished to do, and now that he actually asked her what to do...well she was appreciative of his gesture. But he was trapped within his own mind unable to do what he wished to, and so she was willing to take his kind gesture and send in back to him. It was his soft sigh and shake of his head that made her tilt her head to the side, as she gently slid her hands into his own. An innocent grin appeared as she shrugged her shoulders, gently tugging the man towards her, to get him off that railing.
Although he wanted her to choose the activity for the day she wanted him to make a decision too. Now that he was in charge he should be able to do as he wished. It made sense to her. Nodding in agreement by his proposal she began to walk backwards, encouraging the man to come with her, and far from that railing. The idea of four wheeling seemed like fun...it seemed like something he would enjoy. The last time he drove them somewhere was when he took her to that philanthropy event, stealing presents and taking her up on the hill...it was such a wonderful night. She would lead him off the deck and into their room, stopping once she was sure he wouldn't be encouraged to leap onto that railing again. They needed to return to the West in one piece....she wasn't going to come home and explain to Tetradore that his best friend is dead because he was the only Were-cat in the world to die from falling. Nope, they were going to return home together, but it would be awhile. This was one of their only moments they would be alone together, to do what they wished, and she wanted them to enjoy every minute of it.
Letting go of his hands she moved over to the dresser opening a drawer and pulling out a pamphlet. There were many things they could here, and there were a few things she wished to do...if he was willing to accompany her. Walking back towards him she turned to the page that showed a grown elephant and a baby elephant being fed by tourists, and another with their trunk in a couple's hand as they walked. Looking up at him with a small simper she fiddled with the strap of the robe, uncertain if he would be willing to do this with her. Elephants, she heard, were gentle giants...although that didn't mean they were gentle all the time. Hopefully Tobias was willing to do something...different.
To help encourage the man to do what she wished she muttered shyly another proposal, one she was assured the two of them could enjoy together.
