calamity
The life I live is one big calamity
A small ghost of a simper crossed the Were-King's lips as he abandoned his childhood companion to the brown paper bag of treats. Few, if any, would survive Tobias' initial pillaging, this much Tetradore knew without question. The leopard's sweet tooth rivaled perhaps only his own though surely both men deserved a small treat every now and again? He shook his head ever so gently, those curly brunette locks stirring slightly in the action. Nevertheless, Tetradore bounded easily up the porch stairs, the Alpha hardly hesitating as he pushed open the door to call for the woman he sought. Her voice echoed throughout the house and effortlessly, the Were-King made his way through the familiar layout of the cabin. He meandered with ease towards the kitchen where Raven stood in front of the fridge, his head shaking ever so slightly. "I'm fine." He commented easily enough, his emerald eyes skirting over the turkey sandwiches and cheese and crackers she'd left out. It was endearing of her, of course, to attempt to feed him, and yet, food was...aplenty within his sibling's home. His father's presence, after all, resulted in freshly cooked meals that had the capability of making his mouth water at the mere scents. His appetite, by now, well sated and whatever dinner Matteo had planned was not one he intended to miss.
Rather, Tetradore settled at the barstool in front of the island counter, that paper bag of books placed on the countertop. His gaze turned towards the young woman as she fetched whatever drink she had wanted for herself though if he noticed any change within her physique, he hardly voiced a word of it. "I brought you these." He commented casually, nodding briefly towards the bag of books he'd left for her. "A diving team has been going through the wreckage of the Ark but there's not been a lot that's been salvageable. Your books all got ruined but the lady at the store said these were 'classics', whatever that means." He shrugged nonchalantly, leaning back in his seat. "How have things been going out here? Tobias seems to be enjoying it." He had known, of course, those miles of woods would appeal to his childhood friend. After all, it was almost...similiar to the woods they'd grown up in, albeit with a far smaller home and far more isolated. What he wasn't sure of, however, was how Raven might feel about that drastic move from the metropolis. This was, after all, his responsibility - to ensure they were both well taken care of, safe, and, on a lesser note, happy.
I don't owe you a god damned thing
