South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

My Own Form Of CHAOS

I don't see how she wouldn't know what her touch does to me. Surely she must know that heads turn when she walks into a room. I know that our friendship has blossomed and I can only hope she trusts me as much as I trust her. I don't put trust in just anyone. Usually I don't trust anyone but myself but Isolt has changed that for me. She's changed a lot for me. As I walk toward her, I almost expect her to back away. When she doesn't, I gather my courage to do the things I've been aching to do since she first walked into the lamp light in the park.

She makes a matter of fact comment about me having creek water in my eyes and I laugh lightly.

"My eye sight is perfect as always. I just know what I see."

My voice softens as does my features as I step closer. She doesn't see to believe that she could be anything other than ordinary. I could never see her as anything other than extraordinary however. My hand reaches up, tracing her flawless features as her eye lids flutter, something makes me inhale sharply with a wanting I've never felt before. I take the moment to lean in, knowing that this could go wrong in so many ways. It could push her away from me forever. And yet I'm willing to risk it tonight, just to feel those soft lips on mine. She doesn't back away as I expected. When she leans in, slight pressure felt on my lips, I actually feel surprise. Dare I hope that she actually wanted to be kissed by me? Of course, to do much more would have been risking more than I'm willing to so I pull back first. It would have hurt too much if I had let her do it so I choose to be the one to end the kiss, pulling back reluctantly as I pull a smile over my features. At least I can be triumphant in what I accomplished.

She brings a hand up to her lips and I wonder if she's feeling any regret about the kiss. If only I had a peek into her mind right about now. She seems to hint at a grin though and I take that as success, even if I don't know what else she might be thinking. Of course I knew it would take her by surprise when I go toward the cliff. Her eyes widen and and I hear her yell out a warning as I let go and drop down into the pool I know is waiting at the bottom. A splash is heard and when I look up once I swim to the surface, I see her head poking out over the edge. I can see the fear is obvious in her eyes, even from here and my brows draw together in concern. She shakes her head hastily, telling me she can't and I know that I can't let her do this, not alone anyway. She starts to retreat but I'm already out of the water and running head long to get back up to the cliff. Being undead has its perks and speed is one of them.

Within seconds I can see her firey red hair and I approach from the trees slowly. I run a hand through my soaked hair, water dripping from my clothes as I move toward her and hold out my hand. I sigh, my features soft.

"Isolt, it's time you start learning the perks of your new condition. I won't let go of you, I promise."

I look toward the edge, my eyes caught up in the lights of the city for a moment as a slow smile etches across my lips. I look back at her.

"Haven't you ever wanted to fly? Nothing can hurt you now. I won't let it. Just take my hand....fly with me."
