South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hold on to this lullaby; even when the music's gone

She was still, the only movement was the twitch of an ear as a noise rustled in the bushes behind her. At first, her body was tense against the ground, events of the previous days were rushing back to her. The wolf, the horse, the other fox and then running into that Dark-Hunter. Things were too much for her to cope with, the fact that she just found out that there were other were's out there to the fact that she couldn't find the rest of her siblings or that her parents were dead.

She was sure she had seen something in the tree line, the screech of a terrified hare reached her and she tucked herself further against the tree. She would need to wait longer now, as all the prey within easy reach would be down in their shelters. A rabbit would have been nice tonight, even a vole would be welcomed. But what she really wanted was her mothers kitchen and sugar and sweet items. That was way too much to ask, but she may have found it with the Hunter. Which was saying something. Hunters had murdered her family, they hadn't been doing anything wrong and in moments they were gone.

The only thing she had to show for it was the small white scar that she thinks will fade over time.

She rises up on her haunches, stretching her body and rolling herself through the snow, it was one of her favorite things. It made hunting more difficult, a challenge and if there was one thing she enjoyed; it was that. It didn't take as long as she thought for the smaller animals to come out, those smaller than the hares. The voles came first, those cousins of the mice and one was just unlucky enough to cross her path.

Her body was still, not even her ears flicked back and forth just as the vole passed her and she launched herself out of her sitting position to give chase. Snow churned up behind her, creating a cloud in the air just as her teeth sunk into the small animal and warm blood filled her mouth.

With her prize in hand, she trotted back towards the tree and set it down at her feet ready to settle down and devour her prize. It was then that she heard the unfamiliar voice in her head and her head snapped up to search. It wasn't long until she found the source, how could one not notice the large black feline after all.

"Claire," She answers, her nose tilted into the air to gather the others scent. There was something off about it, as if she had another one entirely. It didn't take long for her to notice that the other was pregnant; it was a scent she recognized from her eldest sister. She glances down at the vole and without a thought she picks it up and trots closer to the feline to drop it a little bit away and nudge it forward, "Here". Surely she would need it more then Claire would. Right?

She trotted back a few steps, careful to keep out of reach. "Who are you?" She asks, dropping down into a sitting position, her tail wrapping around her feet.
